Uh
Could there somewhere in our user pages be included some sort of checklist that allows one to record the games we're in and whether or not we have to post? Not everyone uses the members that caan post options so i have to remember a lot of and that hurts my head.
So yeah.
EDIT: Best written post ever eh?
EDITORIUM THE SECOND: Userid 13 is in fact a massive blank page. Might want to uh...wonder what that's about.

Subscription list
Would it be possible to have, probably on the profile page, a list of the threads that a person is currently subscribed to?
I don't know if there's a limit to the number of subscriptions you can have at one time, but this could also be a possible solution for Gruggs wanting a list of games even if members that can post options aren't used. Subscribe to the relevant threads and there's the list.
If this has already been brought up I willingly submit to a smiting for not doing research before posting.

shaddap, Grugg!
I applaud your willingness to take a smite, Deucalion.
Not bad ideas, period.
Grugg, hush. ID 13 is blank becuase there IS no 13. The idea is that one would have to actually click on someone's profile to get the view_user page, and since there is no userid 13, that is impossible.
Unless some fiddler tries to manually create links in an attempt to break things.
Yeah, there is no graceful "this user doesn't exist" message there, just a blank page due to a lack of data. I'm not sure if I can communicate how little that I care, or how far down my list of priorities this is.

Oh I know
I figured as much. Just wanted to annoy you. And I found that one because I got a dead link in the posting games section to take me there instead of a non-existant thread. I cleaned that up though.

And
And I repeat my desire for a folder system for PM's...because I would love dearly to keep my GM pm's seperate from my player pms and my general nonsense pm's.

Furthermore
In addition to the folder idea, would it be possible to have PMs collapsable so they dont take up so much space? I have to scroll down for a good minute to reach my 2nd PM.

AND (because I am needy)
I want a pony. Named Innmate. And it must look like a dragon. A red one.

Suggestions
Can you include the original post in the reply to a thread? I have to open a new window, find the thread and scroll around to remember one person's name when I'm halfway through a post;
or
I can delete the post, look it up, and then start the post over.
Just a suggestion.
Hope no one thought of it yet, I don't want to be smited...

Work around for Shaithis
Or.... you could do it the overly complicated Eol way by doing this:
- Login and go to the thread/post in question
- Open a new browser window (usually Ctrl+N in most cases) to pop up a second, identical window to the one you were just viewing
- Click on the Reply link from the new window and, VOILA, original post to which you're replying in one browser window and your reply post in the works in another!
Or, there's the super easy Eol-method (aka The Captain Backup Approach) where you just copy every single post to a Word Document (or whatever app you may use for that sort of thing) and read, reply, copy/paste to the Inn.
Not a perfect solution, either way I suppose, but, being the help desk dude what I am, I had to suggest the workarounds, now, didn't I?

PM folders
Alright, ya bunch of whiners, I have implemented private message folders. You'll notice the "add a folder" link under your "You are here -->> blah blah blah.... click here to view sent messages," etc.
Now, the PM folder has a dropdown box. Change it from Inbox to one of your newly added folders, and voila! You are there.
To move messages among folders, scroll down to the bottom of the page. The old mass delete option has been updated to a "move to folder" option. To delete, simply leave it on trash. To move to a new folder, pick the appropriate one from the dropdown.
Wanna kill a folder? Navigate to it and use the "delete folder" link that appears where "add a folder" goes in the regular inbox. If you goof up and delete a folder without moving the messages first, have no fear - they are simply returned to your main inbox.
You cannot delete your main inbox, no matter what you do, so don't even try, Grugg.
There ya go, folks. Organize your PMs to your little heart's content.

new comings and goings forum category
We've added a new category - Comings and Goings. Basically, this is a dedicated spot for people to introduce themselves, or to post those "sorry, I'm going to be away for a few days/weeks/months" threads.

another kick at the can
Is it possible to figure out the bug with email notification for threads. I still do not recieve email notify from CWWLLO Q&A, Rocinante and a number of other threads (almost all the threads in Site business).
I know I am not the only one and it is not my junk filter as I do get some...just not all.
