O.O

Well... that was the a tale a man was expecting!

Nice!

I'll have to contemplate Thren's reaction to that.

Yeah...

Plot twist!

To try and progress the game a little more quickly, I've posted your first interactions with Millae. I'm assuming everyone will have more questions, and as such, I think the most efficient way to move forward from here is to have everyone do what we did before. If anyone that has questions would care to post a list of them here, I'll post again as soon as I can with the answers and we can progress the gameplay from there.

Brom, I will include Lanur's experiences with the next post.

Also, Breebles, I probably should've explained this sooner, but I kept forgetting. Aes Sedai are generally very jealous of their use of the One Power. If they find a wilder, they will usually drag them off to the tower to train them. As such, wilders that are aware that they have the ability to channel will try and keep it a secret. Naturally, you are more than welcome to play the character as you see fit, but please keep in mind that people will generally be shocked (if not panicked) to discover that you can channel and are not an Aes Sedai. This is due to the fact that the people blame the One Power for the Breaking of the World and generally mistrust it and its users. Aes Sedai, however, take the Three Oaths (Not to harm others with the One Power, Never to lie, and Never to create a weapon with the One Power) on the Oathrod which binds them to these Oaths, and the Aes Sedai are tolerated among the common folk because of this. It is all a very subtle thing, as Aes Sedai are also very powerful and as such people likely won't cross one or show any disrespect either. In general, though, the One Power is feared by the common man. Just some environmental building.

Also, I think it might be best to clear up something: I am pretty sure, unless I misremember, that the only person that everyone knows can channel is Cho'Ra. Za'ahrat has largely kept her identity a secret. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The Three Oaaa-shoot

Haha, aahhh, honestly I can work with all of that. I might play her weaving a little closer to the chest, but she's got a major soft spot for people who can use a little healing.

Thank you for explaining all of that for me, Giddy! I have a bit more to consider along with CONFESSION! (which, what if her bf White Cloak put her up to it and she's just covering for him because #Love but he's just using her?! Conspiracyyyy).

Also, I believe you are right about Za'ahrat. I know I keep wanting to refer to her as an Aes Sedai, but I'm pretty positive Cho'Ra has no reason to think that--I think Nimu made it a point to hide it as well.

She did it? She did it! Lanur is going to have fun with that information when he learns of it.

Posts and posts and posts

Oh this is going great - excited to see all of these super great posts! Aplogies for the delay on my end, unfortunately, my work schedule has been extended... (this summer has been cray). I will try to get something up in the next few days but in all likelihood I will not be able to post until after Tuesday. Please don't wait on me, I'm here and can see the light at the end of the tunnel just haven't quite reached it yet.

That said, Za'ahrat has yet to reveal she is an Aes Sedai or even that she can channel. It will be super fun when we get to that revelation

Same

I'm gearing up for a trip to the Adirondacks, myself. Leaving late tonight or early tomorrow morning and will be on the road for a good 11-12 hours. Spending all of next week at the cabin and doing some adventuring and such. May not get much time to post but, if the opportunity arises, I'll be sure to get something scrawled out.

Poor Giddy has fallen prey to the work schedule of an enlisted Navy Man again. I've spoken with him once in two weeks and that was briefly. I know he appreciates everyone's' patience with his weird schedule as the games on the Inn are one of the few things that help him feel like a normal human being.

Aww, no worries! Just noticed we hadn't seen much movement here in a while and was wondering where everyone was at. Hope Giddy gets some nerd time soon!

Oofff!!

Been a busy two weeks for me, as well. Between vacation time in NY and a rather impromptu "rescue mission" to LA, I've seen more road time than free time lately. I'm sure I'll have some catch up to play with work tomorrow but am also hoping to get some creative juices flowing again.

*sigh*

And, of course, my back up didn't bother to back me up while I was gone. Two weeks worth of enhancement requests and defect submissions to filter through, today. Most likely won't get around to posting today but I do have an idea or three stuck in my head that will allow for a decent post once I get the time to write one up.

Thanks! It's good to be back!

Half way through the day and almost half way through catching up with two weeks worth of work. Post potential is looking promising for tomorrow or, maaaaaybe, even later tonight (depending on how fried my eyeballs get from staring at these databases).

Haven't heard from Giddy... he's apparently still swamped. So, no rush.

I'm sure!

That's one of the things I don't miss about military life, to be honest. You're either working yourself to death or you're bored to it... never seems to be much of an inbetween in the life of an enlisted.

I went ahead and posted a tiny little something for Thren as I did happen to have one of those "in between" moments, available.
