I can just imagine

Kithran 'she has an ulterior motive I just know it'

'her ulterior motive is to help people'

Kithran 'she can't be that simple, there's got to be more to it'

In some ways the well-meaning are the most suspicious

Hahaha

Yeah, that's kind of how I saw it too! K is pretty slow to trust as it is, add to that that Ara's a Syl and, well, YA KNOW

At last!

I managed a post! Sorry that took so long. This weekend was packed full of fun and recuperation and very little time for much else.

In an effort to be inconspicuous, Ch'dau's not going to speak much to anyone at the Inn aside from Ara and Kith as I imagine a Kazari's voice might be distinctive enough that it'd give away a little much... (Actually, I've been thinking about it, and I figure ol' fuzz-face sounds quite a bit like Michael Clarke Duncan. Only, you know, with a bit more of a "feline rumble" to the voice.)

Anyhoo... feel free to pick up however you so choose and, if either of you decide to approach Mosic and would like me to NPC him, just let me know. If you decide to NPC him, yourself, I'm good with that, too!

^_^

I like Mosic a lot, but then I've always been a bit partial to the smaller folk  I'm playing a Halfling Druid named Tandy Pebblebottom in an IRL game who I adore, and in the game I run my sis is playing a little trouble-making Gnome Warlock, so Mosic would fit right in with us!

I do however keep reading "Pick" as "Prick", so reading "The little Pick" was a bit confusing at first. Haha excellent post, Eol! Glad he's also taken some interest in our ragtag group as well.

You know, y'all are making me feel really bad for the potential fates that await these characters in Hidden Corruption.

Not bad enough to give them plot armor, mind you... but it does make me feel bad.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it!

I haven't actually played many halflings in my time, tbh. Can probably count on one hand the number of small folk I've actually had in a game. That said, I have written for a few over the years and, I've gotta say, I do kind of enjoy them.

As far as his "interest" goes; clerics of Falloes have a "sense" where it comes to those in need and, despite the brains and brawn in our little ragtag group, I'm pretty sure Mosic is picking up on their need, sooo...

Anyhoo, run with any and or all of that as you will.

Oh nooooooo

YOU feel bad?

Must be rough, Olan. I am so sorry for the pain you must be feeling *hugz*

EDIT: Just saw your reply Eol! Yeah, trouble-making Gnomies and Halflings warm my heart. I was going to go do a little Falloes research myself to try to understand Mosic a little more, in case I want to put some words in his mouth at some point.

Olan

Don't feel bad, dude! I'm pretty sure that all three of us knew when we started this little prequel that there was a good possibility that some or all of us might not make it out of Hidden Corruption alive... and, if it comes right down to it, we've got a contingency plan to deal with things going bad over there.

"Don't eat the mushrooms that you found in that campsite! They cause horrific mass hallucinations!!!"

Lol

That's true! It'll be the last time Kith is allowed to forage for dinner.

Mushrooms, you say

Mayhaps Kithran found some... light reading beside those mushrooms

I jest

That is something I saw as well with regards to devotees of Falloes. They are given a vague sense of where they are needed. If I recall, I was considering a Paladin of Falloes at some time a while ago. I normally avoid paladins, the class doesn't resonate with me, and there's no lack of examples of poorly done characters which makes it daunting to try to do a paladin right, but a paladin of Falloes is one I believe I could do properly.

No matter how things end in HC, I've a good mind of how to incorporate that ending in what may happen here, so I can offer suggestions on that if the need arises

It seems our small Cidal has been attracted to the glint of gold - by which I mean Aranwen's eyes. I am really happy that my mental image of her gave her such noteworthy eyes, which paint a very sharp contrast with her unkept and haphazardly cut oaken hair

Mushrooms, Journals, & Fellowships of Falloes

I wouldn't put it beyond the Little Kitten to have a certain journal squirreled away somewhere... those sticky fingers seem to stick to anything and everything.... juuuuuuuust sayin'!

I'm with you, re: paladins, O' Butterfly. Not my strong suit, either. Also, any suggestions you may have are always welcome, here!

As to Mosic - Of the two "Fellowships of Fallows," I rather see him as being more inclined to the Knights of the Hand sect. Not that he's a knight by any means. Aaaaand, yes, if either of you feel like "putting words in his mouth," please feel free. I like to think of him not so much as an NPC but, rather, an APC (All Player Character).

LMAO @ "Really bad Newhart"

Only if they ALL die, boss... and, even then, only if we all feel the need to mess around with continuing adventures of these three characters. Who knows what might happen?

RE: Everything

Journals: I wouldn't mind at all RPing my own personal fascination with Lost's journals through my favorite little kibibi

Hair: We are Team Messy Hair for sure lol we go walking down the street and people plead with us to take their combs.

HC: Ideally we'd make it out and be able to RP our messed up selves afterward. As insidious as Kith's life is about to get there, I really hope she makes it through so I can work on bringing her back to herself, with a little help from her friends  If she doesn't make it, welp, we can't just cross that bridge when and if we get to it. What Eol said!

Paladins: Yeah, that would be a challenge, which is why I'm curious to give one a go at some point. RPing a lawfully lawful person? W I L D haha
