Dang Eol! Ignore the rules whydoncha?!?!
M'kay... maybe that Q was a bit too obscure... I know that someone around here (besides me) knows the answer but, just to clear the path... i was thinking of the Yuzzem.
And there's Duncan with the stumper! How many fighters returned? Wha-huuuuuh? All I can come up with is 'all of 'em that didn't get 'sploded!' Never thought to count.

Hehehe
Quick, put in the DVD! Heh.
Hint: if you watch the explosion scene, you'll see them flying away as a group right before the splosion happens.
And feel free to get as obscure as ye like-hehe; I just wanted to keep it doable for the casual aficionados as well.
EDIT: Correctimundo, Gruggness! Ask us a question of thine own, good sir.
And happy 5000, by the way. You are offically a Jedi Postmaster-hehe. Gimme my magazines...with the Force.

Oops, I mean only 1 tie fighter returned - Vader's.
4 Rebels. At least, what they showed.

cross referrence
Ian Mcdiarmid was Darth Sidious
Christopher Lee was Count Dooku
and... uh
Christopher Walken is a Sith lord, doesn't need to play one
No idea... I'd need to watch Sleepy Hollow again to get the third one
Still unanswered: On what planet was the Endor battle originally going to be fought?

Maul ftw!
Maul was the third; Ray Park was the Headless Horseman (sorry, GreyGrey, was only 3 fighters, not including the Falcon).
Don't know the answer to yours, Deuc.
While someone hipper than me produces the answer-hehe, here's another Q.

questions.. some answers...
What was the number of the detenion cell in which Princess leia was being held aboard the original Death Star?
Duncan74.. I am sorry but I believe you are wrong… 1138 was not the detention cell where the Princess was being held.. the cell was 2187 as Han told Luke to go get her.
1138 was the cell block number Luke told the guard where they were transferring the captive ‘thing’ or Chewie from.
________
What kind of performance was Palpatine watching when he summoned Anakin to meet with him at the theater?
Hmm.. I know it was an opera.. and I think those were Mon Cals in the water dancing about… but I have never heard what it was called.
____________
A VERY obscure tidbit.. I have never met anyone yet who can quote this one as well as I can.. I don’t know why I remember this but I do..
What was the maintenance hatch number of the trash compacter the group was trapped in while aboard the Death Star? Star Wars Episode 4 of course.

I stand corrected!
You are right, YeOlde, had my detention areas mixed up; I bask in the sunshine of your knowledge-hehe. Thanks for the correction.
And I happen to know the answer to yours, because I had a friend with that phone number once, and it was a running joke with us-hehe. 3863827.

D'Oh!
You are right again! Thoroughly embarrassed myself again! I went and double-checked it, and now know the right answer, so I won't say it-hehe. But a hint to anyone else: I'm only off on one digit!
BTW, those were correct answers to my last question: it was a Mon Calamari water opera.
Okay, will throw out another one (and I KNOW the answer to this one fer sure-hehe):

Aha
Their last Master was Captain Antilles (Captain Raymus Antilles to be specific), who was not related to Wedge Antilles who appears in all of the original movies.

Good question!
That's a really good question there, Alacrity
I know it was a German Mauser, but don't remember the exact Mauser model. Maybe I get partial credit? Heh. BTW, let me know the model number if no one else gets it, I'm curious. And I'm resisting the urge to look it up-hehe.
