I guess I'll mostly have to use my imagination
So many counter-terror guys. So I guess SF is more vocational if that's the right word.
Camp X? EEK
Hmm...
think Black Op guys can be seen as highly wanted criminals in a different country?

SAS
Go and find a copy of Andy MacNab's Immediate Action (I think it's called). It's about his SAS career. You'll see the difference between "normal" army or navy training and real spec ops training. And of course one can't get into SAS without having a military career/training background.

A couple more google searches and such
Typing in "SAS Training" or "Delta Training" yields some good results. In fact "SAS Training" pulled up some cool youtube videos mostly from Andy McNab, I think.
The Jason Bourne novels (and movies) would be good. Clear and Present Danger (book and movie) is good. Rainbow Six is not bad either.
The Delta Force line of video games from NovaLogic were all good, and for a more "black ops" feel check out the "Splinter Cell" series of video games.

And..I really hate YouTube sometimes. You admire the videos uploaded, but the guys making the comments are just idiotic (I also dislike the prejudice anti-U.S comments).

It's because it falls under the (loose) command of the Royal Air Force. There's a Special Boat Service as well that's part of the Royal Navy etc.

I understand the special ops of the army and the Marines, but Air Force/bad-ass specialop is feels so unrelated

Heh, yeah I know what you mean.
As far as I know it goes back to the Second World War, when the RAF was a new service and so was willing to experiment a little more. It might also have been a way to distinguish it from other infantry units, and to stop it being co-opted into the Marines or Paras etc.

I know they're not SAS, but tough buggers anyway.

Bourne
Ayrn suggested the Bourne films a few posts ago, and he's absolutely right! They are a seriously awesome trilogy of films.

Gina!
Yes, I couldn't agree more. Had to buy the whole trilogy. They've got a refreshing realistic touch to them.
