really

Because forcing people to play by their lousy rules has worked for them so often in the past. TSR was. and WotC is the Microsoft of the RPG world.

We should rebel and all switch back to 2e! Who's with me? Books? We don't need no stinking books!

Clothing optional, Dice mandatory! To battle!

Clothing optional....

You can so tell that Alacrity is from Canada, eh? "Clothing optional"... that's right, folks! Up here, in the frigid north, we take our right to bare arms (and other body parts) very seriously!

Version vs version.

There is good and bad in each version. Too bad, WoTc couldn't keep the good things of each when they wrote new ve3rsion, but they didn't. back to old tales in the real world that fey creatures, and magics were affected by iron.in first ed MUs could use organic armors, padded, hide, wood, cord, leather and mithril, Iron and steel aror were taboo becauswe of the iron content going Well, I have got most of those books too. But, one of my probvlems with 2nd ed by the book is the racial class limitations. 9elves can't be paladins, and clerics) also there is less variety possible in character development.

Feats are good

I got problems with that system too, though I do like that every class gets bonus feats at every other level. That is way cool and I am going to instigate that in my D&D games as well

wow

I must admit I really liked that Pathfinder book. At a glance (I didn't look through it in any detail) it looks really good and well thought out. My favorite part, though, is the Pathfinder art. Love it.

Some of the stuff in that book are also really helpful, like the NPC generator and Monster maker, although it assumes you're using the reworked rules presented in the book.

Yep I've been following Pathfinder for about a year now, and it's looking good.
