we have a baby!
Okay, folks, I have returned!
Please welcome Jonah Calum Suddeth to the world. Officially, he weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces at birth and measured 21.5 inches in lenght. I say officially, since his actual birth weight was closer to 7 pounds, 12 ounces (it appears the nursing student did not properly calibrate the scale).
Baby and mom are both doing great, baby is already sleeping through the night. Pics to come.

The two of you now have a full table of Dice shakers.
It is nice to hear your wife came out fine and the baby is doing good. Keep up the good work. Can hardly wait for the pics.

Congratulations!!! What a joyous and wonderful gift: healthy, beautiful life. If you lived up here in Canada it would be probably the best thanksgiving weekend ever, however you still have a month before you can give thanks for your son... Basically what I'm saying, is that is fantastic. Have fun! And, good luck as well, I've heard having a new baby enter in the family is never easy -not to bring the mood down. Of course, there's no doubt that you know what your doing and the love will always be present, in both the great times and the harder times. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!! (fireworks and such are occurring invisibly in this post). I will have a beer for you and Jonah .

EDIT: I just wanted to comment on all the happy faces in the last four posts (including Skari's). You and your little squealer make us all very cheery campers, thank you many times over!

Oh yeah, and another baby! Congratulations man! :GB:
Number four... you and your wife can add 'management skills' to your resumee (if you haven't already).

LOL
@ management skills!
No doubt about it... Also, "picking cool names" skills might be appropriate, as well. Jonah Calum... sounds like a "gunslinger"... I feel the need to watch some Clint Eastwood flicks, all of the sudden.
Congrats to you and yours, boss-type-guy!

thanks for all the well wishes!
Thanks for all the kind words. Glad you aprove of the name. Jonah is easy enough... a Biblical name that we both like. Calum (pronounce the "Cal" as in California) came from one of those hugemongous baby name lists when we were looking at Celtic/Irish male names.
Heh, interstingly, both names mean "dove", and the baby is incredibly calm and peaceful, so I have taken to calling him "Dove-dove".
The old "what does t_catt11 mean?" question is as old as the Inn. I'm quite certain I have answered it for you, Tann. No real story, here.
In the bygone days of the dialup BBS (this is before the internet, when a 2400 baud modem was state of the art, and a server could accept one connection at a time), we referred to our screen names as "handles". Mine was simply "the catt". Hey, I was 13 or so, what can I say?
When I graduated to the Internet, Yahoo was THE portal, so I signed up for a yahoo account. "the catt", "thecatt", "tcatt", etc were all taken. It suggested "t_catt11", so I went with it.
Wow, what a story.

Ahhh ok
Boss you may have told me that at some time in the past but if so I do not remember it. Keep in mind due to my blondness, my ADHD and my brain surgery I do have a tendancy to forget things .
