So, it sounds like you have the interest, Accalia... but I see no character concept from you.

well

I found that with the Robin Hood zombie-game people are really enthusiastic towards the concept, and then they don't join. I suppose that goes for zombies in Chicago as well. I'm cramped with games, otherwise I would gladly join.

Join this people! Zombies are awesome!

I'll give it a shot.

I'd like to give this a shot if that's ok.

Here's my character if you'll have me:

Name: Jake Hammo
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Occupation: Pro Soccer Player
Looks: Thin semi-muscular build, Straight Dark Brown hair, Black Denim Pants, Dark Brown T-Shirt, Forest Green Hoodie, natural tan skin except for his underside of his arms, Running Shoes.
Items: Cell Phone, iPod, $29 (lost his wallet when jogging one day).
Skills: Jake is athletic so naturally he'd be a decent fighter. He has some martial arts training but he was injured in a soccer game and had to stop. He is a decent chef and knows a little bit about herbs and what is safe to eat.
Personality: Jake is very social around people he knows well but rather distant around strangers. He has a realistic attitude (sees things how they are, depending on the situation he is optomistic or pesomistic), he has a humble personality, he doesn't brag or boast very often and he likes to help people.
Background: Jake has a brother and sister but they had a different father. He didn't live with them so you could say he is an only child. He grew up peacefully and became a proffessional athlete. One day him and his family were having a family reunion at O'Brian's Pub when the riots started. They thought people were just angry because the cubs won but then things got more violent. There were murders and people were acting strange. He had his family and him go down into O'Brian's Cellar.
Others: As a child he was anxious and often confused. As he grew he got over his fears and became happy with his life.

Hope this alright!

EDIT: Is this good now?

'kay

Character itself works fine - though the background either (a) needs an edit at the end or (b) you won't be starting the game with the group... they've all been in the basement of O'Brian's pub since the start of the zombie apocalypse.

Adrian "Mac" MacGregor

This is kinda a first post and background story:

Age: 36; Hair: Mullet style, Brown; Eyes: Blue;

Gender: Male; Occupation: Stuntman/Bounty hunter.

The inspiration for my character comes from "Fall Guy".

Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisianna this good ole boy
earned his first knocks in the swamps during the summer on his uncle's gator farm in the southern part of the state. Both of his parents were alcoholics and abusive to a fault so every summer he'd run away to his uncle's house to work and have "fun". Life in the swamps and the dangers that came with it made him strong and agile.

It didn't seem long before he was 18 and graduated highschool. Instead of college, he continued to work for his uncle and started working IN the gator shows his uncle put on. That was how he was discovered by a talent agent and started his true career as a stuntman.

The stunt business was going great. He might jump from a tall building or Tarzan from a swinging vine, for he was the unknown stuntman that made Segal look so fine.

It was only a matter of time before he had broken every bone in his body and ruptured his spleen, bloating his belly out. That caused his stunt jobs to slow down. He was only 25 at the time. Too early to retire. He had to find work somehow.

One day in New York, a bank was being robbed. He was filming at a nearby hotel. During his break he walks into the bank, forgetting he was dressed as one of the bad guys in the movie and he had a 357 smith and Wesson (loaded with blanks) stuffed down his pants. The robbers didn't take instant notice with their attention on the robbery in progress. Those on the floor took notice of the gun on Mac and gasped.

"Oh no, no I'm not with them. Shhhh!" he said in a hushed voice.

Too late. The man robbing one of the tellers spun around, only to find himself face to face with the barrel of a 357 magnum staring back at him.

"Alright give me your gun, mister."

"Sure, Sure just don't shoot me."

As soon as the gun was in his hands, two men come out of the open vault. One raises his gun to shoot, and Mac pulls the guy he just disarmed into the way as a shield and instinctively fired his 357 and the two guys ducked back. Getting a grip on the gun with live rounds he fires the gun with blanks to keep them back. With the 357 emptied he aims the live gun at the vault, "Throw you guns to the floor and come out with your hands up, and no one will get hurt."

Two guns clatter to the floor and the two men walkout, hands in the air.

That was the pivotal point, where he decided to moonlight as a bounty hunter.

11 years after the robbery in New York, barricaded in the basement of a bar in Chicago, he had chased his lasest bounty jumper to. His quarry winds up mutating into a Zombie running loose while he's the prisoner down below.

(This is definitely not all but a good start. Looks like I won't be starting with the others. Keep me in mind if someone bites the big one or gets the big bite, ok?

Also my GMC Truck has a pull-behind living trailer and im carrying my 357 (6 live rounds this time and a prop lightsaber complete with aluminum rod blade from being an extra in Star Wars 2 on Geonosis. other than that I would assume my truck and trailer were looted during the "riots".

Anywho, If there is anything you would like me to change, let me know.)

heh

At first glance, I thought "wow, that is a ridiculous character". On second thought... you know, why not?

Welcome to the game, Tiamat.

Generally speaking, if a thread hasn't been posted in for more than a year, you can safely assume it is dead.
