the sounds of battle had stopped. veron looked around but other than the many trees around he only saw the blurred shapes of takley, jericho, and a dead pigeon, veron guessed it was safe enough. veron (ignoring the pain of his injured arm as best he could) decided to pocket any food and money their attackers had on them perhaps a pair of seeing lenses if he found one that fit him, veron also tried to make them presentable for their passage into death (which was difficult because most of them had their bones turned into pulp). he places a copper on each of their heads to pay articules god of the slain so they could ferry to the gates of judgement (veron wasnt very religeous but it was how he was brought up an it felt right to him).

For some odd reason, Takley felt like dancing afterwords. So he did. He began by picking up a booulder and danced with that on his telekenetic arm. He got bored though, so he began bouncing and hopping so he could feel the air through his tail. after all that he began to feel hungry, so he went into the forest and found some nuts and began to eat.

As the time passes after the Pidgeons have fallen, they begin to leak radiation. Veron suddenly sees Grandmother Monthar as he thinks of what she would think of them looting and killing to survive.

She disappears as he stops thinking about it and he suddenly realizes he gained a new ability.

Jericho sprouts wings slowly as he doubles down on the ground in pain. He realizes he is no longer on the ground and looks to his back.

You find a vibro saw and a sling on the pidgeons.

As you approach the altar you hear Takley speak to you

"That was fun!!!, Dancing time."

He began by picking up a booulder and danced with that on his telekenetic arm. He stopped after a while though, so he began bouncing and hopping so you could feel the air swoosh as he jumped. After all that he went into the forest and began to eat.

after the vision of his grandmother scolding him dissapered, veron let out a sigh (things were different back then and were not going around killing everything we see)thought veron. when veron was finished looting he used some sticks and dried grass to make a fire. using some of the older bits of food veron made some stew, when the others came to the fire he said (knowing that takley problably already ate) "hope you guys arnt tired of stew yet, 'cuz its all i can make untill we get some real cooking utensils" and upon seeing jerichos wings "your lucky you just got wings,jer, im sure a beak wouldnt be very helpful with that tongue of yours." veron was a little jealous but he new better than to roll around in puddles of radiation.

Fang was approaching the altar when he heard a voice say "hope you guys arnt tired of stew yet, 'cuz its all i can make untill we get some real cooking utensils" hearing a pause for a second "your lucky you just got wings,jer, im sure a beak wouldnt be very helpful with that tongue of yours." He licked his lips at the smell of the stew, then without knowing it he thought to them "Ill take some of that stew, I am starving". he shrunk back when he saw the strange reptile stand up and approach him. When in the background he heard what sounded like a odd mating call or something of the sort. the odd reptile turnd around and stared when another odd reptile with wings stood and tongue sticking out stood up and turned the same direction. Fang thought to himself time to escape, so he did. He went a metre away wahen he heard another odd call and recognized who it was. It was Frozen , his friend. mind you he was an obese cow but still a friend.

"Fang, where are you?" Frozen Titanium bellowed "im stuck on this rock, help me" Knowing he could not move without help, he waited for him to come help him get off this what seemed like a BBQ but not quite. At least the pidgeons were gone and he could sleep a little though trapped because of his weight.

Fang circled back to where he knew Frozen was lying there awaiting help to get off. He went and pushed him off so his friend was on his feet again.

Suddenly the odd reptiles and another forest being was there, though not very visible to the naked eye, even for his wolf senses.

"Hello" the small being said, or maybe thought "Im Takley, who are you?"

Fang heard the voice of what seemed to be a small creature. How he knew it was small, he wasn't sure but he spoke telepathically (to no one in particular because the only person he really saw was the reptile and he certainly didn't say anything), "I am Fang, who, and where, are you?"

"I am Takley, guardian of the forest of the lower level. I am right beside you, wait.. now in front. I am a squirrel, your rather short to be a wolf."

"Hello, Takley. Good to meet you. I'd prefer to see you if that is alright. Makes things easier. Unless, you are hidden so you don't get eaten?"

"Im not hidden, I'm just not very tall. But don't try to eat me, it may cost you your life."

He teleports backwards and sits on Verons shoulder

"This is veron, that guy, is Jericho, we are trying to find some bears, do you know where they are?"

"I might, let me try and see if I can smell them..."

(Roll intuition check I guess, right?)

as Fang begins to sniff around, he notices something he did not notice before, dead pidgeons on the ground. Some bent in half as if their spine was broken, some flat in places and little blood on the ground. The smell is too overwelming to sniff out bears so Fang goes back to tell what he found.

Fang arrives to a scene of slaughtered pigeons, each the size of a car. He thought to himself he could feed himself for months, maybe years on these things, but he shook himself and got back to the task at hand. He smelled but the carnage was too overwhelming and he couldn't get any distinct scents other than blood and... food. He was tempted to take just one bite when he felt kind of light headed. He realized that this was the radiation coming from the birds so he quickly made his way back to camp... unapetized, mind you.

When he saw his new allies he broke the news, "Sorry, guys. I couldn't smell anything other than dead bird." Fang shuffled a little bit then spoke again, "So what now?"

Froszen the obese cow walked away from the seen becuase he didn't like dead birds around him.

Frozen walked away as Jericho began speaking "I didn't catch your name, If we are going to be travelling together, we should at least know the others names." He flew over to go in front of him, had trouble landing but got to the ground safely enough.

Veron looked around and wondered at what was on the rest of the altars; all he could find was blood soaked stone, the odd organ here and there and what looked like someone he knew but could he could not recognize them. Walking back, he shuddered becasue of the sight and shook it off but the thought of who the one he recognized might be still haunted him. "Takley" he called to the guardian, "What can you find if you go ahead of us? Might be helpful if you scout ahead."

Takley heard Veron call to him and thought back "Don't know, only one way to find out."He teleported away and returned ten minutes later "The exact same scene as here!!!!, Yayyyy!!!"takley activated his telekinetic arm and danced with a large tree he took out of the ground about 5 minutes earlier from the sight he scouted.

Fang listened intently as Takley spoke wanting to get a move-on. When Takley finished he spoke, "We should move ahead then if it's safe." Fang started forward, looking back seeing is friends weren't following. "Well? Come on, now!"
