but it doesnt mean it isnt fun eol

*save game on tower*
*jumps off tower at dragon*
*fire ball spam*
*dragon dies*
*hit ground HARD, and surprisingly live*
*on your way to loot dragon*
*when suddenly, bears*
*bears maul your face and you die*

and this was just one of the most ironic things that happened to me on skyrim. oh and bears are OP

I didn't say it wasn't fun...

...because, well, it was! So much so, in fact, that I just had to try it more than once... heck, there was one attempt in which I thought I might actually land on the beasty...

Anyway, fun? Yes!

Advisable tactic? Probably not. *winks*

Well

I have it on PS3 because my laptop wouldnt play it either. The graphics are just as good and the game is the same on any platform.

Back to Skyrim now.

heres a hint

if you are going to be a melee character avoid all bears and giants.

sorry your laptop cannot run the awesomeness that is SKYRIM: LAND OF ADVENTURE AND BEARS THAT ARE STRONGER THAN DRAGONS.

so i have conviniently placed something in this post to make you want to play it more.

S Y I K R M

a fun word scramble.

Avoid giants? Yes...

...by all means avoid the giants whenever possible (especially at levels below 20 or so unless you just plan on the plink and run tactic... even then, be prepared for a long run and the possibility of running out of arrows before that dude is toast).

Bears, on the other hand... ummm... I didn't have problems with bears... they seem to die more quickly than wolves in most cases (perhaps because they're larger and thereby easier targets?)... so, I can't concur with the avoid bears statement. *winks*

Also, if you're going with a sneaky-type character, might I recommend visiting Riften at your earliest convenience and getting a foot in with the Thieves Guild? There are some very cool 'quests' involved, there, and you get some really spiffy armor out of the deal (assuming you live long enough to become a member )

Hmmm...

...I'm not really good at taking things back to the shop, myself, Mort, but, I think I'd, at least, sneak a peek at your brothers laptop to see if it will be able to run the game... and, if it won't, go ahead and take the PC version back to the shop and exchange for the Xbox version. *nods*

Oh yeah!

That'll do! Lucky brother!

+1 for charity out of adversity (and, also, for having a 2 yr old lasagne in your fridge... Grugg'll eat that, you know?)
