Please send me an explanation of Clucky and how you plan on working this one into your history story?

Also how you expect your Chicken to survive this adventure?

spontanius insanity (now in strawberry and aluminum flavors)

well in the outskirts of coria city on his way to restock in the market found a chicken and qempar was like 'hey free eggs and feathers for some arrows what a great way to save money' and so he got a chicken not very interesting i know but hey it works

i got the idea from a weird yet funny conversation i had with a relative that pretty muc went like "hey, y'know about emilia eirheart and how she was supposedly lost in the bermuda triangle, what do you think happened to her" "i dont know maybe she was turned into a chicken and teleported somewhere". the original idea was that clucky was 'deranged' because she wasnt always a chicken and wasnt always in audalis eather and the shock of it made her crazy or something, however i changed it a bit so she was less of a hinderance. although i doubt shell survive i want to see how long she will last and hope to get a few jokes out of it while im at it. who knows maybe something will happen if there is some kind of curse removing stone along the way (the curse is undetectable and uncurable by normal means)

why yes i AM insane ,thank you for noticing mr.grapefruit. what? nothanks peppermint sets my hair on fire.

Your Opening Posts

As stated previously, I will be opening the Game Thread after the Tuesday January 3, 2012 deadline for Players to announce their Character choice.

I will post a list of the Players and Characters in the Game Thread and then open it for each Player to post the History/Backstory to the Game Thread for the Lurkers to get acquainted with the cast of characters!

After all Players have posted in the Game Thread, I will make a short post for Avarial to provide the Players a backdrop to respond and post their reactions.

Then we will get this Audalis Adventure in the Game Thread underway!

Lore
Born of the Waithur people, Skithyas Vord found himself at the forefront of the brutal conflict between the Ungoulids and Khord that had been raging for centuries, millenia before his birth. Raised in the totality of war, Vord was comforted by the simple truths it brought, the sense of direction and purpose he could derive from his dire surroundings.
Raised, like the rest of his generation, as warriors, Vord learnt early on that his purpose was to protect. To the Waithur that meant killing anything that wasnt Ungoulid and lived underground. Without morality to hinder him, Vord set about his goal with brutal efficiency. Too tall to be an effective front line fighter in the twisted confines of the caverns the conflict raged through, Vord used his nimbleness and brute strength to force or climb his way through passages that his more diminutive kin and foes could not reach and lay in wait for retreating enemy patrols or squads or lone scouts, slaying those who had escaped the Waithur's wrath.
It was these physical attributes that made Vord such a lethal killer that ultimately led to his downfall. Soon shunned by his people for his individualism and, increasingly, his tendency to pursue targets well beyond the Ungoulid’s borders, Vord sought solace in the only thing left form him, his purpose. He would disappear for days upon end, sometimes weeks before reappearing, usually during a tribal ritual, bearing the grisly trophies of his work. This in turn led to a fateful encounter in a frozen gallery where Vord, having clung for a day and a night from the ceiling, dropped onto his quarry, the Khord Chieftan’s son, slaying him instantly with the impact. Slipping past the guards in the ensuing confusion, Vord was pursued deep into Khord lands, cut off from his people.
To Vord’s horror what should have been the crowning achievement in his career instead backfired horribly as the Khord chieftain, driven into a rage of unreason, sent messengers to his fellow clans, offering the now vacant position of his heir to any fellow lord or king who would pledge the most troops to his aid. As Vord watched from his hidden passages, his people were slaughtered by a remorseless host of Khord who then turned upon each other for the crown.
Three months later, a blackened creature emerged from the Kleis Chasm in Coria, in broken common it found its way to Coria city. Over the course of the next year the city watch found itself investigating a chain of sporadic killings, corrupt merchants and bankers, smugglers and other untouchable enemies of the law.
Recently, such cases have stopped as Vord has moved from the city upon hearing of a darkness spreading from the mountains. Reborn in the light of day, the Ungoulid has a new purpose, to expunge his sins in the only way he knows how, with knife claw and fang.

Okay clockwork ...

..... I gues that the sentence about Vord being reborn in the light of day and expunging his sins qualifies this Assassin to be Chaotic Good.

I would like an explanation of his knowledge of poisons (because Assassins know about poisons!)

Perhaps an added explanation that he possibly learned about poisons from other Assassins while he was employed killing the corrupt in Coria City ???

Indeed

That's the general idea behind Vord anyway, if you want me to flesh the concept out a bit more I'm more than happy to...

As for poisons Vord did use them whilst underground, usually concotions of fungi and the likes, above ground as he was working mainly in underground smugglers networks and the likes he was able to acquaint himself very well with the general repetoire of Corian toxins and is apt at brewing them.

I am considering extending the Deadline to Thursday, but we shall see the responses?

hmmm....

I forsee the Pick staring at and questioning both Vord and Qempars through shear curiosity, up until the point where he gets bored (or their low Charisma kills every attempt to talk to them....)

it is quite strange

how there are no humans in this party, considering Coria is a human nation and all that.
