Asurii

Asurii dances forward again and strikes at the Trolloc (*2: a HIT 16+8 =24; DMG 4) her sharp spear tip biting deep.

She then dances back to allow others in to strike.

Combat: round 2

Keeping his shield raised to pre-empt the Trolloc's own swing Adahn aimed a quick cut at the thing's head. Again the lumbering brute was able to take advantage of its superior reach to ward off his blow with the handle of its scythe and he was unable to inflict any real damage upon it.

Miss: 12+6 = 18.

I sit at the table looking at my companions, all looking just as confused as I. Why are we here? Where is she? As I sit collecting my thoughts they drift towards how wonderful the source feels now that it's clean, I form the void in my mind and reach for it's ever beaconing presence. “Blood and bloody ashes!” I gasp as the taint rushes through my body. I quickly let go of the source... trying not to empty my stomach as i hurriedly leave trying not to finger that “useless bit of metal” at my hip, perhaps I should have paid more attention to it's use. I must find her! I must find the answers. What in the light as happened, why is it tainted? where are we? why are we here? what are we supposed to do? I don't want to go mad!? All these thoughts are running over and over in my head as I leave the The Seas Song in search of answers to my questions.
*****************
I begin question locals about the person for whom I am searching.

Raiel moves to flank the Trolloc Whistling to Asurii in to quick tones to do the same. She attempts to time her thrust just after her seings using any opening she can find uses her spear to attack again. and her bucler is up to defend with.

Asurii

Asurii gives the two quick tones also then hears Raiel signal and her move to flank the Trolloc. Asurii moves to keep the Trolloc between them. She dances the spears, jumping in to thrust and then dodging away, buckler up.

She dances in with flashing feet and steel. Her spears weaving a pattern of death.

Round 3 * HIT 17+8=25 DMG 6
Round 4 * MISS 6+8=14

Combat:: Rounds 3 and 4

Ducking under the Trolloc's guard to aim a solid thrust at the creature's chest Adahn struck, drawing blood even as its scythe opened a thin cut along his own thigh. His second swing was again parried with the brute's scythe, though this defensive motion must surely have left its guard open as the Aiel attacked, opening gaping wounds in both its sides.

***

Round 3: Adahn hit the Trolloc (19+ 6 = 25). 6 Damage (+1 for strength?).
Round 4. Miss (8+6 =14).

Combat: Round 5 and 6

Now within easy striking range of the Trolloc Adahn aimed another two quick cuts upon it. The first glanced harmlessly off the creature's horns but he was gratified to see the second draw a thin line of blood along its midrift.

The whitecloak could see the death in the creature's eyes as blood poured from a half dozen and more wounds in its body; soon the creature would fall and none of its assailants had suffered serious injury in destroying it. The full dozen other brutes who clustered behind it were, however, another matter entirely- surely the four would be worn down long before the Trolloc band was exhausted.

Round 5: Miss (12+6 = 18 )
Round 6: Hit (18+6=24). 5 Damage (+1 for strength?)

Battleing on

Raiel concentrated on the Trolloc in fron of her. Asurii and she had fought them before but they had always cut one or two off seom it fellows and took them down that wasy. SHe had endurance and would use every last once of it. Aiel did not give in. THe Three-fold land was thetesting grounds for Aiel. Weakness had been cut out, only the strong, the quick and the cunning survived. She attacks again and again. keep here secondary spears up to parry but concentrating on hitting the Trolloc. THis time she got a clear hit on him and was able to follow it with another.

Light knew Trollocs took a lot of damage before they went doen. She only hoped they would be able to sustain it Knowing it was victory or it was death.

Round 5 & 6
Your roll results:
*19 Hit Your total roll is 27 and a mod of 8.
DMG 4 (+3 Str) = 7 .
*20 Hit Your total roll is 28 and a mod of 8.

Asurii

Just after Raiel's powerful attack, Asurii came in and did one of her own, not wanting to let down her side of the battle. She danced in and out counter to Raiel's attacks, her razor sharp blade carved into the Trolloc adding more damage. And she quickly followed with a second strike but that one misses.

11 Asha'man vs 4 people... I can't help but to chuckle to myself and whistle a victory tune on my way to the stables. This task was childs play at best. After purchasing horses with the reds gold I stop by a bowyer and select a good strong short bow, arrows, and extra draw strings. I should try and keep channeling to a minimum before I end up telling the voices in my head jokes. It feels nice to at have a sense of what to do. I return to our Inn and tell Harn everything I was told by the red. Within the hour we are headed on horseback into the hills.

Sarhia

The battle rages on as Sarhia watches desperately trying to think of something to do. Her small dagger would be of no help against a Trolloc and she was unaccustomed to fighting. Trying to fight would be suicide. In what seemed like hours but was actually only a couple minutes the first Trolloc fell. The others in her party were poised to go for the next but in an instant realized that the other Trollocs had suddenly turned all attention to the large Trolloc in the middle whom seems to be listening to something. The quick thought of what could turn a Trolloc away from a battle raced through Sahria's mind but before the thought could go any further she felt a tingle along her spine that shot out to all parts of her body, then her vision blurred, refocused, and then blackness swam around her. She didn't have time to be frightened or even think of what was happening to her. Everything became charged around her as if her body were open to the one power. She walked a few steps almost gliding forward towards the door looking to everyone as though she were in a trance. Her eyes had taken on a blank expression looking as though no life were in them. The energy she felt was trying to escape her, she could feel it and yet not control it. Suddenly just as she passed the others in her party, she lifted her hands and channeled a weave that sent out a Blaze of Strikes against every Trolloc in the room. With the strongest bolt going to the Largest Trolloc in the middle. Sahria had no conscious effort of what was happening as the weave left her, the darkness was slowly swallowing her as the energy passed through her body. What the others saw was what looked like lightning bolts coming from her fingers, but it was a blueish purple color that made the room the color of an evening sky. Then as suddenly as it had took over her, the energy left her and she was aware of nothing but steadily increasing blackness as she sank to the floor where she remained completely drained and fell into total unconsciousness.

OOC: Question.

Is the post by Carey the "eventful" post? Can we post now or are we waiting for something else?

Raiel

Raiel is momentarily stunned by what happened, but a quich breath later she is moving. Keeping a wary eye on the fallen Trollocs she moves to the girls side to find out why she fell. Raiel grips all the spears in her left hand and feels for a flow of blood through her veins near the base of her neck. The sudden switch from staring death in the face to now being the only living left was abrupt and unsettling. But Aiel dealt with that by sticking to business at hand. That was keeping alive

The strangeness of the Trollocs actions just did not ring true to her experience of them. The four of them should have been overwhelmed the first time they can in contact with the Trollocs. That was their way. Troollocs always used superiour numbers to try to overwhelm their opponents. To have them all just standing there in a circle with only one coming to attack them and one more loojing like he was about to join his comrade that was just too weird.

The strangeness would have to wait until later. The questions would also have to wait Why were Trollocs the here? Where as here? Who was that youth ? Were there more people about? Those questions remained upspoken for now. .

There was a pulse. weak, fluttering, but a pulse.

On Guard

Seeing Raiel going to the girl's aid, Asurii told up a guard position at the door. The dead youth was of no concern. He was foolish and now he was dead. They went together in everyday Aiel Life. Those to lived to adulthood and learned quickly, not to be foolish.

Asurii stood guard spears in hand and ready for a fight. If she can, with one hand she will put salve on her cuts and bandage them.

Witchcraft and such

His suspicions confirmed as dark talons of dark talons of sorcerous energy burst from the peasant woman’s fingers to envelop the Trolloc pack Adahn watched the fallen beasts closely, prodding one with the toe of his boot to ascertain whether the creature truly was dead.

There was a foul stench in the air, not merely one of blood and death and the voided bowels of his defeated foes but also the pungent reek of tainted magic, a nauseous odour that chilled him to the very corners of his soul.

The witch had fallen, and whether she lived or died was in the hands of her creator. The sorcery of the tower, it seemed, took no less heavy a toll upon the body as the soul of its practitioners. It was fitting, he reminded himself, that the Trollocs had met their demise at the hands of the same perverted magics that had made possible their creation, for the teachings of his order maintained that evil brought about the seeds of its own destruction. That maxim had, it appeared, been vindicated once again.

As he strode across the hallway the Whitecloak spared a glance for the fallen, decapitated youth. The witch’s warder, he assumed, summoned to her aid by the sorcerous energy that had forged a bond between the two? No matter, for he was dead now and it would take more than Aes Sedai witchcraft to restore life to his remains. Flipping the body over with his foot Adahn quickly scanned it to make sure that it held nothing of interest and then progressed, sword and shield in hand, to begin his descent of the stairs.

OOC: If the body does have anything of interest could you please post or PM me with whatever it seems to have been carrying?
