Post coming

I'll get you the last couple of details on the cleric soon. Not much left, I don't think. For now I will also get a post up to keep things moving.

Because why not?

*flails at the grossness of face being licked*

Well howdy Eol. Do you greet everyone by taste? and is there a particular elvish (I'm assumg that's what your ranger is saying) dictionary that you use?

H'lo! :D

Answer to your first question: Indeed I do, indeed I do! In fact, was a day when any newbie type would stop by and post in the Comings and Goings section, they'd get one of these:

And as to question the second: I typically use the "Grey Company" Elvish dictionary and phrasebook. You can grab a copy from right here, in fact.

If it'll make it easier, I can include translations in post from here on out - either in parentheses alongside the elvish words or in OOC comments at the end of posts.

Okay...

...previous posts edited to include translations in OOC comments. Future posts to include them, as well.

That said... I get the feeling I'm gonna like Pyrus... she's a cocky little thing!

How about that

XD that photo! Good Lord man, did you whip that up yerself?

Yay the Tolkien elvish! That I won't have a problem with since I found a spiffy translator for it a while ago for other events.
You beat me to mentioning the translations. Hella fun to see the different languages used but sometimes it's too much damn work to figure out what is said >_>

Pyrus may return the friendliness...if she doesn't get bored

Wow 2 pages already

We're going to have a novel before we have plot. Sorry for the wild goose chase, I last minute changed up my plans because I realized heroes need base.I might update with the real update in a couple days, but here's something for the moment.

No worries, Fey!

Personally, I rather enjoy the "games/tales" that are heavy on the RP and interaction. Plot or not, this one has been fun already!

That said, I'll be heading out of town for the weekend and can't guarantee that I'll get a post put up in response to the "hooded hotty" right away. I'll give it a shot, of course, but as I'm practically on my way out the door, now, I can't be sure of exactly when that'll be. Should have something by Sunday night, at least.

Hooded Hotty and what comes next

As I noted in my post, I think the DM's post assumes we got to the hideout, which makes sense. It moves things along and anyone who bothered to show up in the tavern would go - they still don't know anything but they were all interested. Thus I don't think it is critical that we go into incredible detail on each step - decide to go, identify groups for moving there, explain routes taken, whatever. I am all for continuing the banter as I also really like the RP aspect of things - and it gives everyone a chance to get to know the real Heironymus. So talk, make plans and move out. But we can probably move the game along as well as soon as everyone posts even if we don't all end with every detail covered.

Agreed...

...wasn't necessarily "dead set" on playing out every little nuance, just stating that I was rather enjoying it and was sure that this group could come up with something to "fill space" while we waited for the DM. I'm all good with having a "whoosh moment" that gets us all to the "base of ops" without detailing every step.

That said, my weekend has wrapped up (albeit later than I'd originally expected) and, if work keeps up it's current quiet mode, I should have a post for Dak tacked on at some point today.

I doubt we need to see the pictures, but do we need to see the map with the sewer lines?
Also, is there anything else at all in the folders?

Suspicious Minds

Is there any reason why we should be questioning our new boss? We know nothing of him. We know we are essentially being set up to go attack a gang. This could be a subtle way for one gang to attack another. Or perhaps to set someone up as the fallguy for a crime. I'm not saying that is true, but is it something that in this situation our characters would be worried about? And, if so, what do we do about it?

Unskilled

Well I don't have the talent to either draw a map or upload one to the interwebs, but I can try to describe it better.

"The Docks" consists of the actual harbor, the shipyard, and about 5 city blocks. There are three lines crisscrossing the map all leading to the ocean, and three x's that mark entry points for the sewers.

Souleateryum, Alex does not recognize the potions.

It's not for me to determine if you guys trust your new "boss" so I won't even weigh in on the conversation.
