Well I was reading some of the Trek game and it scares me.

There is a lot going on and a lot of technical stuff. I'm not sure that sort of game is for me. If I played something in there it would have to be some Nurse or other smaller character.

Yes, it does come from Yogi bear. When I was little my dad called me his little Boo Boo bear and the nickname stuck. Even today friends and family call me Boo Boo. I prefer it actually. I'm strange like that.

Oddly enough, ALL of the nurses we've got on board at this point are NPCs and, that said, I think we could really use a living breathing player in that position if, for nothing else, than to keep our current CMO from going stir-crazy.

As I said, no need to worry about the technical stuff (we can always hold your hand, there, if it becomes necessary)... if you'd like to join up, say the word and we'll get you rolling.

Give me a little time to read over the Star Trek game and I'll let you know if I think I can handle it. I would need some guidance on posting for sure.

...just visit our Trek Tools at this link; click on Peregrine, then, below the image, click on the link for "Roster". That should take you to the current roster for our little adventure. There are currently three NPCs listed under the Medical department... If you want to assume one of those roles feel free to do so. That said, however, none of those medical NPCs have played into the game, yet, so any of them can be pulled in favor of an "original Boo Boo creation," if you prefer.

Well I checked out the nurse characters. Dana is the only female nurse so I would like to put a Pin in her for now. Still reading and deciding. I'll let you know.

If you need help with the Trek-ese language and all that, just holler here, and any number of us will leap majestically upward to sprinkle a lil' geek on it.

I'm starting to like the idea of this game. There seems to be a lot of interest and posting going on. Not sure how much I can bring to the game but I might just give this a go.

Who is running this game? Whoever it is, would you give a complete newbie a chance at this Star Trek thing? I would like to play the Nurse Dana Cook, if allowed. I will probably need some help along the way, especially with Trekkie stuff and while I am a little geeky I'm not a card carrying member like some of the people I see posting.

If allowed to play, would I have permission to change some of the info for the character? It doesn't seem complete and I could add some details if allowed.

As to the roster entry, absolutely... Change/edit/update anything you like (you'll be able to do so once you're added to the list of approved players... I'll PM you when that's done). She's your character, now, make her your own.

Well thank you! I will try not to disappoint but that will be easier if you don't expect too much out of me.

I'll do my best and will be sure to pester you all when I am in the game and need help. So prepare yourself for no battle you have ever undertaken will measure up to the trouble that I can bring with my many questions.
