Awesome
Sounds good to me! I'll be reading through too and seeing where things were left off, just as a refresher

In a D&D game let me know more details if you get it up and running.
Glad your back my friend.

If something gets flying for a new set of characters, I'd love to come up with something.

ooh
I'm mulling over an idea for a druid, normally a pacifist but becomes feral when wild-shaped; an almost Jekyll & Hyde transformation, and I'd prefer if it was a more involuntary action, perhaps triggered by some outside factor like losing a set percentage of his HP or taking a Critical Hit. Probably unarmed in order to deal non-lethal damage when it comes to blows, more often than not though focused on buffs and heals, maybe some crowd control via Entangle, eventually Baleful Polymorph, (It's really quite a shame Sleep isn't on the Druid list).
I'm still not sure how he'll feel about using summoned creatures to fight for him as this would harm both the animal and the enemy, and if that's the case then he'd also be opposed to his Animal Companion fighting. But then again the Companion also has a mind of its own and probably would fight...
Also, if it helps sell the idea, I'm willing to be a were-panda since his Gruggliness seems fascinated with Pandas based on his posts.

Fortunes Favored
Great! Picking up near where we left off makes sense. Would be good to take a few posts to get my head back in the game. I'll read up the back posts for now. Definitely want to continue with Sehanine, it as it's been 2 years, maybe make some tweaks. What do you think? I'm traveling this weekend but can get some possibilities out when I return. So thrilled this is back on!!!

Can I throw my hat in?
I'd be interested in your second game if it green lights.
If so, do you have a starting level in mind?
Peace,
Ayrn

Alright. I'm going in for my read-through. I've tied this rope to my ankle in case I get lost or pass out. Wish me luck.

Caught up!
Spent a little time this evening catching up with the Fortune's Favoured. I'm still in love with little Calopee Kindric, and I'd be excited to see where things lead onto with the bold and blunderous beguilers. My schedule is actually pretty open at nights too, so I'm good to go.
Let's do this thing!

alright alright alright
So with Fortune back on that group can start using the Q&A over here. This thread's going to be organizing the "new" game.
With Ayrn that gives us 4 for a second party, I'd be alright with 5 (symmetry?) so we'll leave this open over the weekend for anyone out there on the fence. Chessic in his eternal enthusiasm has offered to play in both games so if no one else is interested so Party2 is greenlit!
So, as to the actual starting level/etc, I'd like some input from you guys before that's set in stone. Any of Tann, Nomad, Shield or Ayrn have any preferences? What kind of characters did you have in mind? I've got a bit of a hook forming but I'll open up the floor before I dive in on that.

D&D?
This is a D&D game, right?
My only strong feeling is that I'd prefer to avoid a fighter this time. My non-warriors seem to all be in games that have fizzled, so I could use one. And I've never been big on clerics, depending on the setting, of course. A rogue probably tops my list, although a mage of some sort could also be good. Probably human, although that also could vary depending on the setting.
Could you give us a bit of the hook to help think about the character? I do have a human rogue type in mind, but . . .

The hook
The general idea was you're going to be in the employ or at least hired to recover a possible lost artifact discovered by a since uncommunicative scholar expedition on the orc infested jungle continent of Malahatag. While individuality is awesome at the start your characters have agreed to complete this job for the reward offered (your motives of course vary) and you'll be at least knowing one another, as you gathered in Lochgate on the continent of Caledon and will be starting the game in the final part of a boat voyage to the jungle, giving you time to meet one another (if you didn't know each other before, feel free to collab). Was thinking of starting at level 7.
All geographic/map info can be found here.
Interested in hearing your guys' thoughts.

The hook sounds good
Grugg,
I was going to suggest level 8 for the classes with even level spell progression (where my sorcerers at?).
Otherwise, sounds great! Give me a day to think up a character.
Peace,
Ayrn

As normal
Looking at an Elf/Half-Elf Ranger OOORRR maybe an Elf/Human Paladin orrrr a Cleric of some sort as I've never played a Cleric before. Lets see what idea's the others have and we can narrow it down more then. Looking forward to it Mr Grugg.
