W T F!?

I uh... kinda lost my arm... I might need to know if I got it back.

P.S. Does the name "Return to Arms" mean I found it and got it reattached?

New Character

Hmm.. not having any of the books and such I am slow at generating Characters for 3 or 3.5ed so it will take me some time to get a character decided and fleshed out.

The Mithril Knights look cool.. are those available to play?

sounds like could be fun

Sounds like it could be fun to play in if there is still a spot open. If not I will maybe lurk around and read it.

Open to Tome of Battle?

Tome of Battle characters okay?

And could you give me a sense of the flavour of this campaign? Heroic? Dark and grim? LotR-esque?

Thanks!

Rofl Vil.

Return to Arms, not Return of Arms

But incidentally 3 years have past, and you'll have your arm returned...

Questions Answered:

YeOlde: Mirthril Knights are available to play, provided the Pre-req's are met. I'll probably limit the PrC to one player though, as the class is rare and prestigious.

Drakar:I'll max my game at 8 players I'm thinking, so as of now there is room.

Ayrn: Tome of Battle is fine! As for Theme, (and my older players can correct me or attest to the following) but I'd say it falls somewhere between Heroic, Dark and Grim, and LotRish.

There are plenty of Epic battles, Heroic mettings and ways to prove one's mettle, however my writing style for this game is meant to convey the severity of the situation, and it is a Mature Rated Game, so Dark and Grim plays an important role -as Atharam can attest to... (remember the first Orc you guys ever faced?)

Online Source Material.

Here is my preferred edition of the Wizards 3.5 edition System Reference Document, covering the PhB, DMG. MM, Ex. Psionics, Unearthed Arcana and more.

Is that a yes?

You know.. on second thought. After looking over the Mithril Knight I dont think I can do the character class justice and so I will find some other Character class to play.

~Points at Tek~ Theres another candidate for Mithril Knight and I am sure a far superior one at that.

Indeed

I always recall that orc... Partially because its the one feat you always remind me of! Not killing the two orcs and rallying our team with my cape atop my lance. Not leaping off the burning ship on Raykel. Not single-handedly challenging the Vampire lord and being saved by Corean. Always that orc...

A question, though. Provided I don't take the route you and I mused over, wouldn't Atharam be fit for first election of Mithril Knight? After all, I'm the oldest player in your game! I'm the last one out of the first remaining headcount

yes but...

Vampires, Burning ships and rallies didn't involve entrails and unborn children... *Shudders*

Yes Tek, you may apply for the Mithril Knight PrC. I'll even allow you to fix your skill allotment to meet the class req's. If you'd like you can also exchange Templar levels for Mithril knight levels if you want, a reward for unwavering loyalty to Corean...and me That would give you 4 levels of Mithril knight, only one more till the PrC's signiture feature, the Mithril Sword.

Possibly...

I have something worked out in my head. I just might take your offer on that. However, would YeOlde still be able to play as that class, as well? If not, I'll figure something else out.

I'm under the impression...

that YeOlde want's to try something else. Paladin's as you know are far from the easier to roleplay properly, and as you also know, one of my favourite classes to try and mess with lol.

If you want the Mithril Knight, it's yours by seniority. If YeOlde also want's it, and can provide a decent background idea for the character, given how I've chosen to start this run of the game, he may also choose to be one.

Okay.

I'll make revisions sometime in the near future. I will require a copy of Atharam's sheet to mess around with, and let's see if I can still make a character the way I used to...

If I can pull off this idea, its going to be epic, and beyond memorable...but it will be damn hard to pull off.

Well, I have found some time to actually make a conscription post... I would love to be in the game, if you'll still have me. I'm about to go look at the Q/A to see if you've told me anything I need to know about the campaign, which I'm sure you have
