I like the Red Wings well enough but they seem to have become one of those teams where the 'old timers' who haven't managed to get to the Cup on other teams go to try and grab that glory before they're too old to play.

Same situation with some of the 'southern' teams... I love to watch the Bolts play, for example, but COME ON! How often does Florida even get any real ice? Never could figure out why ice hockey teams ever ended up in states where it doesn't even snow. If your state's ponds don't freeze over in the winter, you shouldn't play hockey there!

Ya know... Minnesota at least made the quarter finals and since Dallas of all places stole the orignal Northstars, maybe I will look north and start cheering on the Wild. Or I could always fall back on the Canucks.
