Go back!

Donald jumped up and covered the trees.

"Go back! It's not ready yet!"

Lawl! Not looking family friendly...

"I wont drop you...I'm not like that anymore."

He smiled as her grip remained just as tight, she either didn't trsut him, or liked where she was. Which ever one it was, he didn't mind.

Adrian shut his eyes, and once more carried Dawn back into the bathrrom at Donalds outburst.

"I wonder which one of he meant?"

Okay, done now.

Donald walked into the bathroom a little later, holding a long case, made completely of redwood.

"Okay, in my family, it's tradition to receive a musical instrument as a coming of age gift. And as of now, I'm adopting you as my little brother. And if you touch drugs, I'll beat you."

He opened it, and the most beautiful acoustic guitar sat inside it. It was made out of maple, with the neck decorated with ivy. "I'll teach how to play if you want. By the way, I'm a big gift giver. And for you, miss Dawn, this one's for you."

He pulled a ring out of his pocket, made out the same wood as the guitar case. The same ivy pattern wrapped all the way around.

?

"What?", He smiled a silly crooked smile and put her down, giving her an 'sorry for that' look.

"Why do I get something?" She asked, looking confused.

all elemental

"Anyone who can use earth magic deserves something made from the earth. You see, I partake in her herbs every day. Now both of you have something. And I picked a ring because, well, girls like jewelry."

Adrian look at the guitar, then at Donald. Part of him was thanking him for the gift, the other was joking that he was actually a Trumpet player...the only thing that gave him joy, and the other was chastising him for walking in at that precise moment. He felt Dawn was about to tell him something important...and he missed it.

Dawn smirked. "Wow, lucky guess." She slipped it on her finger and smiled. "Thank you." She hugged him.

dudes, my bad

Donald walked back towards the door. "Well guys, we're probably about to party like it's 1999, so head out here when you two have your moment."

Donald knew, deep inside of him, that Adrian would get the girl, and he was fine with that, honestly. He needed her. Donald had something else, anyways. His addiction, his hobby, his muse.

His weed.

Adrian smiled...

He smiled.

"I'll be right back."

He teleported once more, and returned with something very special to him. The rich ruby red case and the gilded latches were the only beauty Adrian was permitted to enjoy for many years.

He handed it to Donald.

"A gift begets a gift...my friend."

caught me on my way out

Donald eyed the case with suspicion.

"Well, what is it?"

He opened up the case, expecting a practical joke due to the mood Adrian was in.

Ha!

"Its a trumpet..."

It was no joke. It was a Getzen trumpet, crimson red with gold trimming and valves.

"Maybe you can learn to play it sometime...you've got enough hot air in you..."

He smiled. He was normal again...aside from the magic of course.

"I do like some trumpet in music." Donald walked over and hugged Adrian. "Thanks, little bro. I don't care what you look like, you're still younger than me."
