looking good

I will post the teleport and appearance outside this weekend. If I can get a post from Hammer and Nimu by then great, but otherwise don't worry about it. However once you are teleported to the "dungeon" the non-response clock starts.

Nice post, Hammer...

Minor point, though... the Queen's name is Yolanda.

T to the H

you are about 70 feet from the torchbearer

Btw - if you have played Tomb of Horror before, do not worry as it will not help you much in this game. This is MY tomb of horrors so besides a few familiar monsters you won't recognize much. I found the ToH rather easy so I changed it.

yep

I agree with Ayrn. Kill 'em all.

I'll try to have a post up by tomorrow night (Saturday). Tann, I'll do a backpost piece to address Maximus.

Folks, I'm planning to play Arien as the de facto party leader unless you guys have an issue with that. He's held that role before, so it makes sense.

Of course, Kadrin is a general, so Arien will be sensitive to this, will trust his council implicitly. Arien is very bright tactically, but he's too bold and too trusting, sees the world as very black and white. He's also smart enough to know he has shortcomings, so he will listen (though he may ignore advice and charge, anyway).

Arien will, in fact, listen to input from any of you.

At any rate, if you have a problem with me playing it this way, speak now!

Regarding Arien

No Problem with Arien playing the role of Leader

You go ahead...

... you know what they say... "Behind every good man is a great dwarf."

I'm content with piping in from the back.

Though, that being said, I hope everyone feels like they can "lead off" on a scene without waiting on another. For instance, if someone other than Olan feels like their character would go an examine/speak to the torchbearer (first), I think anyone should feel free to do so.

I also think the companions, having adventured together in the past, know that, given the chance, Arian's likely to act or open his mouth in any given situation.

lead

No problem with the leader. Sparrow is not the leading type. She is more content to sit back and cover those who rush in.

So'kay........

I'm good with Olan leading. I'm just in awe of all of you in your writing. I hope to keep my end up. It will be easier for me to follow others lead.

Following the leader wherever he may go...

I'm good with leaving the leadership to you as well. Lun isn't much of a battlefield commander either, she's much more likely to keep to the shadows.
