Sorry, Keeper. Everyone is so far behind Goncalvo that I need to get them all caught up.

Everyone else, I've updated the game to a point where your input is needed. Also, Lady Dark, Maggie is being awarded a Knowledge Point (KP) in Intimidate, which is a skill she does not yet have. So she'll need to keep attempting to intimidate people to keep building on that skill in order to get a full Skill Point. I've also awarded her with a KP in Streetwise. Those exploding 10's when rolling for ideas of what she'll encounter in any particular direction pay off.

Got a post to do for Rocinante (got side-tracked by drawing, yesterday), then I'll get something tacked up for Fin.

...that that bit about Fin's love for Anne and Maggie going beyond the "platonic" was, for the most part, the rum talking. That's not to say that Fin hasn't entertained ideas of rollicking with one or both of them before... I mean LOOK at them, fer Pete's sake!!!... He truly does love the Cole sisters more than anyone else, just as stated in the post, and, to that end, he does his very best to keep his more "lusty thoughts" concerning either of them to himself.... In other words, he actually respects them enough to not act on some of his baser instincts. 

Excellent post, Eol and Nomad. As usual. Do I see others on the horizon?

It appears as though I have player posts in full so I'll work on getting a continuation in place pronto. 

FYI - Merideth has expressed an interest in taking on the role of the doc, Ebenezer. I'll be working on that character sheet and she'll be joining us once I've completed it.

Nice!  I suspect we will be needing a Doc soon.  

...that we don't already! Outside of Sharky and Daxon, I think we've all gotten off pretty lucky. Cracker, I think, is one of the few who hasn't gone and "jumped in front of the train" so far.

I have posted. Please note the time stamps. When I leave off for each character we're looking at the following...

• Goncalvo: still way ahead of everyone else...

• Fin: 1:23 PM (Cracker and Maggie haven't returned to the ship yet. As a matter-of-fact, this is about the time Maggie is randomly murdering people.)

• Cracker: 3:12 PM (Maggie is in her cabin, though Cracker and Sharky don't know that she's even on board yet.)

• Maggie: 2:45 PM (Fin may, or may not, be on the ship as we haven't yet reached that point in his storyline. Cracker isn't back on board when Maggie arrives on the ship, but Shark Tooth is though he's gone directly below deck so she doesn't see him and none of the crew know enough to report anything to her.)

By the way - I made an error in my post by typing to fast.  Wylie refers to my character, Cracker.  I accidently referenced Shark tooth that way once because I changed around in mid post how I was handling the situation.  Anyway, you copied me and kept calling him Wylie.  

My question - If not directly to the captain, who is the proper person for William "Cracker" Wylie to give his information about the town and ships to?  Now does not seem to be the right time, so he might seek out whoever would  be the next bet.  And not the other Ms. Cole, either, obviously.  Is there someone else?  

FYI - My post will be to accept the assignment ot find Cole - but ask if he can commandeer some men to take into town to look.  Assuming she says yes, he will go on deck to do so.  At that point I'm assuming he will learn of her return from those who saw her come back.  

Keeper - fluff is good stuff.

Nomad - Cracker's surname is Wylie and, as fate would have it, Sharky's given name is also Wylie... Wiiiam Wiley=Cracker, Wylie Stryker= SharkTooth.

Fluff is good! Mmmm... fluff.

OK, the Quartermaster would be who the Boatswain reports directly to unless given other orders. Chain of command would be something akin to...

1. Captain
2. First Mate
3. Quartermaster / Sailing Master
4. Boatswain
5. Gunner Sergeants

Of course, normal pirate ships wouldn't have a first mate, but that's neither here nor there for the Dog. Auxilliary positions (like surgeon, carpenter, etc.) would have precedence in giving orders under certain circumstances, but would still report to the boatswain and then on up the line.
