SVU?

Oh come on guys...

There is one Law&Order! I liked it when the one cop was played by the actor who did Lumier's voice. He passed away a few years ago... what was his name?

*snaps fingers (oh nm you guys don't know that reference...ummm.... at any rate)*

He was a cool guy, both the character and the actor.

*nod*

Movie Geek to the Rescue

The fine actor of which you speak is Jerry Orbach. Tsk, Meri. You left the door open wide for me to charge through (+2 to attack) and steal da win.

Dis thread--I winned it!

Reaaagh

I am back to enforce my "let us use this thread of intriguing random conversation and not "I WIN" posts". One liners are acceptable, if moderately frowned upon.

Well Played Good Sir! Huzzah!

*Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" (Overture) plays in background*

Indeed, Sir Grugg, I cordially echo and support your succinct recriminations as to the boorish behaviour exemplified in recent "postings" although I shudder in revulsion to even assign such an apellation to those uncouth musings. *sips brandy with pinky raised* Verily, they have bear more resemblance to vulgar graffiti scrawled haphazardly upon fine Italian marble. Perchance, Sir Grugg, you would flatter me by accepting my invitation to retire to the conservatory where we might further converse on the proper cultivation of orchids? Splendid! A jolly time we shall have! Chumlee, bring another bottle of brandy and the caviar. Oh, once more, victory is mine!

you know...

I must say I am just confused. We were having a discussion. Several in fact, the latest on Law&Order.

And if you are going to insist that we have a conversation about something... well perhaps you should start one.

Orchids you say dear Pit? Hmmm... ever seen Adaptation?

That Ghost Orchid is fantastic... hallucigenic properties aside. I wish I had a green thumb because I would grow orchids. They are delightful little flowers. But very delicate. Maybe I need to find some well made fake ones to put up in the house. Although a fake orchid seems... somehow wrong...

*le sigh*

Rather

I challenge your assertion while inviting you to read the glorious exposition merely above my previous post. Also bananas are delicious and I think I shall eat one. Dear Meri, Much Love, Love Grugg.

Banana's are yummy... they would be best if someone could genetically engineer them to have a core of chocolate in the middle... nanners and chocolate... yummy

*passes Grugg a banana* shhhh... don't tell anyone.

Gimme a W!

If the profit margin and projected volume is favorable, they will. . .eventually. Put it up before a focus group.

Sorry

Haven't really made it to Western Europe yet. Japan yes... Eastern Europe (Greece) yes...

England... only the airport for a few hours and I did not notice any flakes or butty's there. *shrug*

Someday though. My husband and I were actually discussing that the other day. His mom is going on her second cruise next month and thinks that everyone should go on one now. But I am so not interested in a caribbean cruise. I'm actually not that interested in a cruise to start with mind you, but one that just travels over the caribbean hoping from beach to beach sounds intolerably boring to me. If I ever did one it would have to be either Alaska or Europe. If I'm not taking in spectacular views of glaciers I had better be able to hit up a fantastic museum or historical site whenever I pull into port.

- end random Meri rant -

But cruises

mean you won't be able to post then we'll miss you. But if you do go on a cruise there' a brand of cruise ships with a really cool type of bar called Ice Bars. They're neat and you should take a cruise on one of those.
