planning!

Tenacity apparently doesn't believe in ranged combat? I'm not sure how I overlooked it, but she has no missile weapons of any sort.

Anyway, she'll tell the spellcasters to hide behind her for the cover/save benefits and hope to catch as much of the lightning herself. "Get behind me! We'll make it harder for them to target you directly."

She can use Shield Ally only on physical attacks, which she'll do if any of them decide to come into melee range.

you could also....

retaliate against the creature that just bit you. you can say what you want too, as in calling out directions or a plan like you just did above, because speaking is a free action. so it can all happen this round.

whee

Oh, ok. I wasn't aware that particular one was still in melee range.

It's going to get swung at, and I'll still shout the thing I intended to.

Tenacity's attack

Natural 20! 1d8+4 max dam x2 with cold iron sword did 24 damage to AH4 .

chiron fires two arrows at the newly injured AH4 as it flies 25 ft up to regain its circling vantage point.

Arrow 1 hits (26 vs 21 AC)1d8+3 7 dam
Arrow 2 misses (12 vs 21 AC)

Victorious

the Fight is over. Please update your characters. All those who actually played have half the XP needed for your next level. (you'll find I doll out XP like the game "Dig-Dug" dolls out points for just digging)

meta gaming

I almost forgot about xavier and camille when figuring the watches. "They're NPCs, they can't have a watch, right?" Found a slightly more in-game reason to exclude them. heh heh.

Who's on first?

On whose watch did the whispering wax and wane?

Ahem!

There is a situation the present watch should be aware of taking place that may need some investigation (and consequently posting from players). Xavier and Camille have stolen away in the night. where they've gone or how they were able to leave without much notice is what you might want to find out. Please let get some posts going.

oh and answer to Deucalion:
The devil wind that silenced the whispering happened on the Second watch

Well then...

In a bit of a rush are we?
Who is on the second watch? As I understand Seluumiel is on last watch which is third correct? I think it was Tenacity on 1st and Chiron on 2nd, but I may be wrong there.

Post is up

Made some assumptions in the post and there's a bit of a time jump where some skill checks were made.

1st I assumed that there's nothing of note to be found inside the perimeter if Chiron takes 10 on a search check once he sees that they're missing.

2nd I assumed that it's the people that are missing, their bedrolls and other "camp stuff" are still present

3rd I assumed that there wasn't an encounter that would begin when Chiron reached the bell-strung perimeter during his search.

If any of these assumptions are incorrect, let me know and I can alter the post.

It's not implicitly said in the game post, but the amount of time that passes between noticing the kids are gone and waking Tenacity is however long it takes Chiron to search the camp area for them.

Errmm

Assuming Seluumiel has not been woke from trance. How close to third watch are we? Third was final right?
