glad you are feeling better Ody
I am going to assume you will look on the cortex for a map of Serenity Views and the location of Morningstar. Just to get the map posted and the chance for you to decide who is going to talk to him and who is doing other things.

crudely drawn map
Details will follow. The spaceport is to the top of the map, about 1/4 mile away.

WOW
This Sunday marks 9 years of Rocinante flyin'. Three completed adventures and moving on to the fourth.
Two original players are still with us and four of you have been there since the first adventure.
Thanks for making this game so great.

I have just been diagnosed with the flu...
Ick... hack hack, cough cough.
Good assumption Roger, and has it really been that long? It doesn't seem that way. Well, here's to six more, and may we fly long beyond that!
Ody, I thought I told you to get better...
We need to decide if Willow is going to wait to pursue the location of the companion until Havelock is buried, or if she feels it is too urgent to wait. Then we'll be able to determine who's going where in my opinion.

Sorry..It Wasn't Me.......
I didn't give you the flu...maybe it was Tann and his bed bugs.
See your Doc and try Tamiflu, it may shorten the duration.
Drink lots of fluids, get lots of rest.

To every season, turn, turn
Havelock first, then the lost companion. Establish to folks why we are here, then people will mind less if we linger.
Sorry you guys aren't feeling well. Hard to believe I have been playing the character longer than I have been raising Incrediboy!

Theraflu is not worth it...
The docs say that it will only remove about 12 hours from the duration and 12 hours isn't worth the $130 it costs. Thanks Obama...
It is hard to believe that the game has been going this long. It is the sign of a great game!
So, I'm thinking that we have the following people on this little soiree:
- Wyatt
- Willow (to work the cryochamber and to be the voice of reason)
- Asher (because his job is public relations)
That leaves the following with the ship:
- Wolf (with instructions to replenish anything that was used up along the way)
- Ma
- Jade (to help Wolf and to keep her ear to both the Cortex and the local chatter)
We take our personal ship-linked handsets for communication, and we go armed for bear without being too conspicuous.
That means that Wyatt will take his service revolver, he'll be wearing his ballistic mesh, his derringer, his combat knife, but will leave his shotgun.
The three of us leaving the ship will go to the Marshall's.

Marshall?
What Marshall? You are visiting Virgil Morningstar, the man who basically owns this town.

That Much......
It was past the 48 hour mark with my son went to the Doctor so we didn't even ask about get Tamiflu, but I had no idea it was so costly. The flu just hit here again, my wife got it last night and my son came down with it again too.
Happy Holidays, cough...cough!
Asher will be ready to join Wyatt and Miss Willow. I was planning to write up a bit tonight and I can work that in.
Truthfully I just got around to reading Brom's post last night. (Great post by the way!!) I don't think the kid has any Browncoat stuff, it would have been his brother's if he did. Most like he has a long duster, but may be black. I'll do some back reading to see any of the earlier Asher writers said anything.
I remember Roger writing that there is no fed marshalls, but I see a sheriff's office. Do you think we should check in and ask about Morningstar's place just get a lay of the situation? Willow can defuse any cross looks at Wyatt Browncoat clothes as Horor Guard to Havelock. Maybe pickup a map of the area to help locate the burial site?

I'm stoopid...
Sorry Roger... I was mixing things up in my foggy little head.
Ok, so instead of Marshall, think Virgil Morningstar. I don't know that Wyatt would be all that thrilled with making a purposeful visit to a Sheriff's office anyway. But taking a face-to-face with the Town Chieftain is an interesting way to get the lay of the land. Not to mention, that if this foggy brain of mine remembers correctly, we were told that we'd need to check in with him anyway. So, that would be the plan. Unless, that is, anyone has any objections.

Just Tossing Thoughts.....
I saw we had to go by the sheriff office to get to Morningstar so I just tossed that out. I got feeling folks will not be acting kindly to Browncoats walking through this Purple Belly money maker.

reminder
Sanders told you to speak to Virgil first and to expect delays as the Valley is not fully cleared of un-exploded land mines, ordinance and munitions from the war. So you may wish to leave Havelock behind on the initial journey. You were also told that there is an Alliance outpost here commander by a Sally Wu who is known as a by the book type.
You may remember way way back to the first adventure you played in Frisco and there was some debate as to whether to get a sheriff or ask for an alliance outpost. The argument was the alliance outpost was cheaper (you don't for them) but they then to be very black and white about laws. A sheriff you have to pay but you can have him enforce your own town laws. Rarely do the two exist in the same town.
A good example is a town might want to set a "no guns" law. A sheriff could enforce that rule but an alliance outpost would not. However if a gang rode into town shooting up the place, alliance will sweep in and arrest everyone while a sheriff would know the locals from the bad guys.

and yet...
We have a sheriff and an Alliance outpost? Hot diggity! Never tell me the odds.
Ok, so the plan will be the crew dispersed as outlined while leaving our passenger to "relax" and make our way to see Virgil.
Any objections?
