Just to let you know the Concussion Gren that Croaker talked about was loaded into the Gren Launcher on the SMG, not held in his hand.
So as of right now he has a fully loaded clip and a gren in the launcher on the SMG.

Ok, so I got caught up on an art assignment that had a rough deadline and wasn't able to move things forward. This is a saving grace for a few of you since it gives you a couple of days to post before I get in and take over your character. It'll likely be Wednesday at the earliest before I can get in to post if things keep going the way they are, but I wouldn't wait too long to catch up. Who knows, I may just get a break and decide that I need a little character-killing action.

Hey guys...thanks for being so patient with me...I didn't sleep a week all weekend...just got home for the first time since friday evening...I've been right busy packing for my move to Toronto which'll take place sometime this week, no for sure date yet though.

Back to the weekend...so I didn't sleep at all. First night I had too much on my mind about the move and didn't really get comfortable since I had to sleep on hardwood floor...then saturday night I didn't sleep because i was busy keeping somebody alive. My friend, who's moving up with me to Toronto, had a going away party on saturday night, and well one of her friends got so drunk that they got alcohol poisoning. Me being like a sister to my friend who threw the party decided to pull another all nighter and stayed up with him. Making sure if he fell asleep he didn't start puking...that would have sucked. We couldn't bring him to the hospital cause he was only 18, and didn't need to be sued. So I stayed up all night freezing my butt off outside to keep this guy alive, and it was the first time I met him was at the party. Not fun at all...having to watch him throw up and it was terrible. We were both freezing, but he had like 2 and a half blankets on him, since he was so cold, I put half my blanket on him, and kept half for myself. It was such a long night. Poor guy was freezing, but he eventually fell asleep, then felt better after like an hour or two sleep, then was all hyper but still buzzing...it was interesting to say the least. But yeah, so that's why I haven't posted. I've been busy getting ready for the move, and losing sleep helping people, and yeah, so I'm catching up on my sleep today, and have to help dad move apartments.

Please don't kill me if I don't post before you post though. I just have so much going on right now...my dad thinks I'm dating my boss because I'm spending a lot of time with him. I'm busy trying to keep the house organized and clean until I move, but found out today that we're moving half of our stuff to the other apartment today...gah...it's just hectic...so please be patient with me...I'll post as soon as I can use my brain again...it hurts to think.

So, I had intended to post tonight. Not gonna happen. A lot of stuff kicking up at work has kept me way past normal closing hours. Then an art project with a crazy deadline... and I haven't even gotten to the writing I have to do. Thank goodness I have an August deadline on that one. Anyway, thanks for bearing with me. I promise this is not forgotten. I've been using this time to come up with more devious plot twists.

All right, here's how things stand:

Croaker: You've just used one concussion grenade reducing your total payload to one more. Even though you didn't declare it, I used four Luck to put that grenade where you wanted it to be. I figured it would be too important a roll to botch, but I didn't want to use up your total pool of Luck, so I hope you don't mind. I could take it back, but then your lady love would be mixed with black bodyguard all over the pavement... You can begin the reload process this phase, but you won't be able to fire another grenade until next phase. You can move up to your total Run still.

Bullseye: Firewind, DigitalScribe, Merry Deth, and Spiff are all inside the van. You're watching the explosive display through your sideview mirrors.

Preacher: The solo is focused on covering your retreat, down on one knee, ready to open fire back the way he came (to the east).

Firewind: You've reached the van, placed Merry Deth lying down against the corner of the van bay lengthwise so she's as out of the way as possible.

Peacekeeper: You've got Guardian lying on top of you and have felt the impact of a round against his leg. You're no dummy and are full on aware of the fact that his bulk is protecting you from a maelstrom of bullets, but you can't move until he does unless you make some serious strength checks... he's a big dude.

Spiff: Ouch... that hurt. You've twisted your knee something fierce, but it isn't debilitating, just really painful. You're lucky you didn't break an ankle... close, but lucky none-the-less. You've made it to the van.

Guardian: You've been shot! OK, don't panic. It bounced, but it still bruised. You're also going to be peppered with glass fragments, but you're alive and the shooting has temporarily stopped.

DigitalScribe: FILMING... yup, catching your heroic actions on digital media for posterity. He'll likely even put some real fancy words like "hero" and "sacrifice" into the rhetoric when he splices his report together. Lucky you.

ok Brom once again I have a question.

On my character sheet it says I had 3 Grens for the launcher but you say I only have 1 left. Did I fire the third one some time before now and if I did when? I can't remember.
Also we had a total of 6 all together, 3 on me and 3 on Peacekeeper, but I have no clue if Jinxsa or Dark Autumn did anything with them or if they were even listed on the character sheet for Peacekeeper.

Also can you put up a new map as to the current postions of those not yet in the van Thanks.

Answers: The character sheet I have showed two grenades. There's some confusion somewhere, but the ruling is to go with the two. So you, Croaker, have one grenade while Peacekeeper would have two.



I've opted to keep Preacher as an NPC for now.

I'll be able to post tonight, but I'm not making any promises. Depends on if my dad has to go out on a trip or not. If not we'll be heading to the island for the night. So anyways, I'm going for a nap, then out to a bbq with my "sis" and then not sure.
