Artura smiled. "I feel like saying something..."

Beroo hadn't fled completely away.

He sat in the forest, hidden, watching the scene unfold. And he was completely shocked.

He left them to privacy and came back to the camp. He plopped down in front of Ella and began asking her questions again.

"So where are you headed to? How many of you are there? Can I come?"

"Why, if you feel as though ou have something to say, do not hold it back my darling...unless it is something you wish to hide..."

He smiled smugly at her as he pulled her closer and presser he cheek against the cold armor of his chest. He smiled, he could almost feel the warmth through the armor.

"Well, kinda scared to admit it out loud."

He cast a few furative glances about, looking for Kender amongst the tree's.

'He already left, stupid, spying, annoying little bastard.'

He looked at her and smiled. He felt odd around her.
