Repairs
I am going to use the healing method as best I can with the exception that location will be a major factor. In this example, it was a hull wound so I have made it such, but I gave Kora the benefit of having a spare hull plate and the ability to wield the others.
I should look through the "waves in the black" forum to see if anyone has posted about repairing ships.

Questions
I need a visual please.
If you could just describe the situation a bit it would help. I'm having trouble visualizing the scene.
The Roc is docked to this mine which is part of the comet right? She is outside the ship in a pressure suit while it's docked to the mine. Would she be seeing the cone portion of the comet or the tail?

Here's how it is
Prospectors tooks a space ship called a Monroe Wagon and clamped it to a comet. The Monroes (Bumblebees) were made for colonists so the ship is made for one way travel, then it converts to a habitat dome with the other parts becoming housing and such. So these enterprising folk have set up home on a comet (Thank god for artifical gravity or this wouldn't work)
The two docking pads are outside the dome, so there is no grav or atmo. While you are walking around, you can see the tail of the comet streaking away out the back. Since you are on the top of the comet, you really can not see the head.
Does that help? I have a map but forgot to bring it in to work to scan.

Mute communication
just so everyone knows, Trish carries an airhorn, similar to one you'd hear at a hockey game. She will blast it in an emergency situation so people will come running.
Not that such a situation is coming .... This is strictly FYI.

Update...
Just as an FYI...
I've done a quick update of the Cap's portrait... still might need a bit of work, yet, but I think it's a bit closer to what Brom had in mind as opposed to my original version (looks more like the Wyatt in Brom's pretty, anyhoo). Results can be seen in the characters thread and - if ya want the larger version - the links on pg 4 of this thread have been updated, too.
Oh... added a side profile pic of a Firefly to Roc's character sheet, as well... din't seem right tha' th' ol' girl wasn't represented proper, get me? That one's not my work, by the way... Might've found it on Awtry's site but I can't recall for sure... am using the larger version for my 3D modelling project.

yeah, yeah
So the gaming tyrant was working on two deals that she should never have agreed to...but much like Willow, saying "no" is hard for me.
Will work up posts for both games this weekend

Way I figure it...
This is one of those cases where I'll post after the lot of you seeing how there's a chance for a lot of communicating. Figure Wyatt will make sure things are solid-steady on the Lullaby before inviting Willow to join them for the business end of things. His guard isn't down, but he's diplomatic-cordial with the miners just so-as y'all know. He'll certainly not turn down a good home-cooked breakfast!

The breach
OOC: I suspect that a containment breach is bad for the Griffin. But is that bad for us? Are we all going to get radiated to death and melt if they come to close? Is their ship gonna blow up?
Just curious...

containment
For a ship to lose containment, means that the decks would become full of radiation from the fusion drive. That will lead to radiation illness or burnes and death. However this ship is not leaking badly so Rocinante and Lullabelle are in no danger.
Now to fix that, the MC will have to dock, shut down all systems and repair it by literally taking the engine apart and reconstructing the mechanism that holds the fusion engine.
They are venting hydrogen fuel right now but just a little so they have enough time to get to the dock, but they would be crazy to fly off immediately. If Roc was hurt like that you'd keep her in the bay for at least a couple of days.
Reavers often run ships without containment. Their ships have enough radiation to kill a man. Reavers seem to build up a tolerance for it.
One other thing - I forgot to cut and paste a part of the conversation on that last post. It is there now.

Talk about a post to make a feller twitchy...
...that one'll do it! Looks as if things are about to get real interesting...
"Define interesting."
"Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die?"
(Sorry... couldn't help my self)
Just out of curiosity, Al, did you get that map of Lullabelle scanned yet? I kinda get the impression that "lay of the land" is gonna get crucial 'fore long.
