seriously
You are still on the first level, and barely done four rooms, you still need to find the way up to the second level and ..
THE WIZARD!!!!!!!!
So there is a way to go.

Geez...............
We survived a ship wreck, fought off killer zombie mice, a whining ninja, funky cat, three banshies, spooky dreams, and four bugbears. That should be PLENTY of XP to level up.

First rule
First rule of d&d, you can never level up in a dungeon.
I need a direction and a door from the group
Archangel is correct. The first watch fell asleep mysterious and you all slept through the night.

Oops
Sorry, I missed that in your post.
That makes things interesting...
Anyway, Wembley's good with any door... as a player, I probably wouldn't go through the south portal, on the basis that, if the bugbears were coming to kill the wizard and came through that portal, I would guess that the wizard is not in that direction. If the bugbears just teleported into that room, then it doesn't really matter, because they haven't "cleared" anything for us.
I'd choose left or right... probably the room with the red-headed masseuse. Wembley's begun to make quite the bond with her/it.

meassge
I am dealing with some major health issues right now and Vanadia is away on business for the week. I will be a little on the quiet side this week for posting and updates.
Mal has called for the south door through the steam room so unless there is an objection, I will proceed on that notion.
BTW - is anyone taking the Wizard slaying crossbow? Or any of the BB equipment?

Spoils and direction
Mal's direction is as good as any!
As for BB equipment, AlĂ´ndas won't take anything he can't use; the necklace is enough. No he didn't put it on.
He will suggest thought that I might be of use and someone should take it before they go.

The Stuff..........
Here's the Stuff:
plain dagger in a sheath,
2 long knives in sheaths
three more daggers.
two swords, two shields,
crossbow is a piece of work with two bolts quarrels are carved with runes and the heads are a green stained metal with a crystal sphere, similar to the one on the pendant except here they are filled with a silver liquid like mercury.
banded armour is very nice but made for someone of a large girth and height and would not suit anyone among the party.
banded armour (still a bit big for anyone here)
a pouch of dried meat strips,
a purse with 30 Cullars (Sendria Silver piece)
10 Bulrin (S. Gold piece),
50 Cullars,
a small blue potion similar to the one his comrade was about to drink before Wembley scored the bulls-eye.
two more potions
necklace is gold, with a triangle pendant that has a crystal sphere. Within the crystal sphere is a murky cloud that swirls about on its own. His flail lies on the ground far from the body.
three backpacks (large but useable).
Dudley will gather the meat strips, potions to put with the food and the money for tribute for our good Fortune. He'll claim the belt dagger from the leader to use as a knife.
We should take the packs for stuff we will find. Those that don't have a pack should claim one.

going South
It was Miss Scarlett, in the Dining Room, with the Giant Rats.
No?
I will post the room in the game soonish. Party comes in where the X is. Room is a dinning room with 10 Undead Giant Rats eating two fresh bodies.

Who Ya Gonna Call...........
We Dudley and Gamard could do the Combine and Turn Undead act again.
It worked on the mice.
I'd hope the others are better armed now to finish them off.
What'cha think?

well
With the undead mice, you had the liberty of closing the door and casting the "Combine". The spell takes a round to cast so you will definitely be overrun by rodents before you can complete the spell and then turn the ROUS.
