crowe
I have reached out to crowe, as well. He did a BANG UP job with Garner before he flaked out.
I get it; the guy burned really hot, then something happened in his personal life, and he probably feels embarassed to try to come back. Dude, it's the Inn. It happens. We love ya, come play with us more!

backposting!
Ohhh really? I didn't realize the backposting thing. Sorry, I'm coming back and not remembering a lot. I'm gonna need to do a fair bit of reading to catch up, I think. I feel bad about that, but I have a pretty weak memory.

Absolutely. It's common to have people collaborate with other players on side plots, which basically go at their own speed. I use the Captain as a plot device as much as anything; when I post for him, it's to move the main storyline forward... but you can still backpost, as long as what you do doesn't impact the story.
You want to backpost so that your character finsihed a conversation, workout, solves some personal problem? Go for it!
You want to backpost to have your character discover the leaking seal, and so prevent the explosion that was just posted? No bueno.
For a refresher, you may want to scan the first page of posts in this Q&A, where I detail how things work and whatnot. Feel free to run ANY questions by myself and/or Eol.

There are a lot of subplots running if I remember correctly. Asovil is involved in more than one.

It's a Trek game. There are ALWAYS a lot of subplots.

o.O...O.o...O.O
Symbiotes and Steak Fries! I'd forgotten the pirate attack, myself!!!
Just finished up re-reading the game thread and, am pretty sure, I'm all caught up and ready to go. May start putting together a post to get Tochi back in the mix of things, actually... IF I can get all these work e-mails to settle down, that is.

Items to note:
If your character is somehow awake and able to get moving, note that Asovil is the last character able to get to the bridge. The turbolift is unresponsive, feel free to handle that as you will.

Noted
Also, glancing at the duty rosters, it appears we have no one on post in the shuttlebays during Gamma shift... is that right?

I don't think we have the personnel to have someone watching the shuttlebays 24/7. If there are no scheduled operations, the department is just closed at that time - appropriate secuirty measures in place.

Good enough...
...I figure Tochi is likely catching up on some sleep at the time of attack, anyway (close to waking and readying for a shift at the helm). Just wanted to verify that we had no one in the shuttlebay, etc, so I could figure out the seed of a post, here.

Turbolifts . . .
Oh, the turbolifts are down? The end of my last post has Melody using that to get to med bay. I can retcon that, but I'm not sure what other options there are. I'm guessing there are stairs somewhere, but I don't want to write her using them if that's not real.
Are there stairs to get from floor to floor on the Peregrine?
Sorry if this is a silly question haha TNG, DISCO and the movies are still my only personal Trek experiences and they never use stairs!

The turnolifts worked for a time; Melody was using them, as was Asovil. But attempts after that will fail, be creative as to why (or I'll cover in my post).
