Bah!

Just to clear something up.....
Draven didnt say he wouldnt help. He said they werent the sell swords. And im going to have him disregard the 'consent' retort, because, like I said, he was referring to the dwarves signing HIM up as a sellsword without his permission.

It's best to let the elf know your not the sell swords, then to say "yeah! Sure! Thats us!" and have teh real sell swords appear later on, and have that whole conflict of false identity.

that's cleared up then. Good.

Now you still face a badger problem.

Elessarae's Mission.

I remember the gist of it, but please send it again.

Also I would have thought that maps would be provided to Elessarae to help her get to where she needed to go. It is a long trip in unfamiliar territory, she will need to know where towns and citiies are so that she can get supplies along the way. ETC.

there

sent

Maps are expensive. They trust by now, and considering Elessar's background, she knows a lot of the Sylvari Empire and its three kingdoms. It is safe to assume that she knows pretty much the layout of the three maps as they appear in the map-menu of the Audalis setting.

Vidar is taking his chance

Skari, you are going to need those ranks in swim, I tell you. Going down while armored is easy, going up.... hehe. It's cool you took this chance though.

People, in general: I have never had this much fun DMing a game on the inn, or even playing in one (sorry for all you guys I hurt by saying that). It's a big compliment to all of you who participate.
Let's hope we all live to see the end of this adventure.

Maps for Elessarae.

Would Elessarae have been given maps or would maps be available in this Elven.

Finding a band of adventurers in the Forest is going to be hard enough as there is little information of who and where they are.

In my nest post Elessarae will be backtracking North and setting up a path to the Moonlit Tower, since it is closest to the Charkran mts, and they might had news of an adventuring group being seen.

heh

I could've taken that Potion of Bull's Strength before diving in, but I wasn't sure if +2 to the Swim check would've mattered that much

I'm just hoping that I won't die without a fight

Btw, I edited my post a bit. A little something to boost up my roleplay which I forgot while I was posting.

.

I was reading through the first pages of the games, and was wondering, what ever happened to Gunar?

Gunar

Gunar is probably still at Troshba's grounds, calling her names and trying to find her lair to kill her children. IF he's not already puntured to the rocks by her spikes.

Sylvari speech

Tann included a little Sylvari reply to the village elder. So far only Loda has listed Sylvari/elven as a language, and I only sent Jozan a private message with its meaning.

Not all of you have listed their languages. If you would be so kind enough to post them here?

languages..

Khord-racially
Common-racially
bonus 1Sylvari- for his interest in elvish ways of magic
bonus 2Undercommon-for other undermountain type races
bonus 3Cidal-from previous trade negotiations
bonus 4goblinoid- racial hatred inspired study of their language.

the village

Here's a map of the village of Birch-root. Use it for making a good plan, unless the plan simply is: find the badger and kill it.

Hmm

I don't see much in terms of being able to use this to figure where the Badger will strike next. I see that the creature has inspected about all of the homes on the outskirts of the village, and some of the northern, slightly more interior homes....It may or may not strike some of the other, unvisited homes next, but None can be sure....doesn't seem to return to the same place twice though...I say we tell the villagers on the outsides of the village to stay with friends and family on the interior, and then we bate the creature into the southern area of unvisited homes...Since, new territory to explore AND the promise of a meal via the bate should without a doubt, attract it.

agreed

looking over the map this morning I had guestimated that the badger's next appearance would be near the two leaf stmbols below and below and to the left of the 'elder's hut'. It seems to be circulating around in a cylindrical pattern working it's way in, so it seems like a decent enough place to stop.

If our caster has the alarm spell, they could set some about the places we're not, in an attempt to have notice should it appear elsewhere other than predicted.
