hmmm
which they don't, apparently. Maybe it's better to discuss it first, before somebody steps up and says 'I'll do it'. That way there won't be any miscommunications.

Sib!
Percifeer will look at Miran. You KNOW she is also a caster, but if you have the spell prepared, she is willing to let you have a go at it, especially since she does not know that spell. She will, however, accept the challenge if you appear unprepared. She is capable of such a challenge.

Yeah, it's simple enough. Fireball the crowd- the one still standing has Spell Resistance XD. I hope Pao has Detect Evil, or we're going to have to get creative. Mirrors anyone?

how?
my owl was not on my arm, but in the night air (on buildings etc). If he was able to spot that it was mine without it being anywhere near me, then he's using some sort of spell that i've never heard of before...
The reason I'm asking is because I'm playing a caster. Call it a spellcraft check if you must.

Now that the door is closed ...
... I can put forward something (OOC) that I have been dying to mention. Since the test is effectively over and is not likely to be the same for a second try:
I wonder if Pao's ability with undead and his silver holy symbol might have helped. He wouldn't have had to approach if they were just across the street ...
[Edit]
I just re-read the series and noticed that Miran did ask in a general fashion if Pao could identify undead by sight. I didnt notice that, but it's actually irrelevant. I would have had to answer "no". And Pao had already decided (as posted) that he would only do the test if asked or volunteered.
There is also the fact that the man-mountain said only one person could give the answer. He didn't say only one person had to solve the problem ...
