Body count
Okay, this is the part where we get down to brass tacks.
I have been informed that Lyskhala is leaving us as she has too much going on wih real life. That brings my NPC list t0 three out of five (Only Bromern and Vanadia still in).
Now I know that Blamm is away and plans to come back. Roberts tells me he is going to be back but has not returned as of yet. My PC list grows thin.
I do not want to end this game as I am enjoying it. But I can't run the entire crew. I can NPC Kora and make her a engine room mechanic, but running Dash, Kora, Asher and Trish is a bit tough.
Thoughts? I need some input here.

Sorry to hear about Lyskhala
Sometimes real life has to come first and will insist upon it, even if we try to sneak around reality. Hope you find yourself about to return soon, Lyskhala!
I'd say open up Kora to replacement players...even if only temporary until a new mechanic can be hired, and played by the new player.
I can help with Trish if you like...

It may appear...
I know it may seem like I've vanished, but I've taken steps towards freeing up some of my ten hour work day so I can reduce it back to a normal eight hour day, so I'm not going anywhere. As far as suggestions... well, you could always open characters up, do an offshoot, backstory role-play opportunity, or just let us throw in some NPCing for the other players through our posts.
It's always fun to get that surprise "between the eyes" shot.

Just in case....
I am working up a follow up post for Dash where the crew of the Celestia and getting the "wounded" back to Roc is concerned... If you beat me to posting, Al, my plans were to have Dash 1)make some off color comments to the "enemy crew" - "These are the yukkers as wanted to spray our boat with ice an' crap? Buncha mouth breathers don' look like they c'n read let alone fly! Nice rack, Red!" - as he passes, etc 2)Check out the big dead guy and relieve his corpsified self of that gatling gun and anything else that might fetch a fair price, and 3) once back at the ship and leaving Jim in Willow's capable hands, head back to his bunk, grab that bottle of whiskey (for medical purposes ) and his rifle before heading back to the airlock to "keep an eye" on Wyatt and the red-headds whilst he's waiting his turn to get patched up.
Nothing really major, except for maybe relieving dead-guy of his gear, I guess. Just wanted to give you my train of thought in case you got to a post before I did.

To rush or not to rush
Thoughts here. I can rush through the next section and have you guy settle up the wounded, get the ice, and be on your way to Regina for the greater part of this journey.
Or I can work through it slowly, allowing you to chat with the Fultons, work out the loading of ice, etc etc etc
The benefit of rushing is that I get Tann into the game faster, write out Kora and move on. Those of you wounded will be up and about sooner in real time.
Going slower might mean you can ask important questions, get some answers and so forth. But the wounded will have a few periods of no need to post.
Speak out, up or over

No Rush
Hey thanks for the possible rush but I can wait if I have too. Sure getting into the game soon would be nice but just like Trilogy I believe the story comes first. So fast or slow I will still be here.
Also Al I do need to talk to you soon about another matter and I really want to do it 'Face to face' so to speak in the chat room or on a Messenger type como.
Let me know thanks.

Personally...
... I was rather hoping for (but not expecting) a wave from Tink before we got to Regina but, otherwise, I'm flexible as to the whole "hurry up and get there" or "take it easy and play it out". There is plenty of stuff to play with yet on Lullabelle, I'm sure, but, on the flipside of that, we don't wanna keep Tann waiting for too long, right?
I'll go with the "general consensus" whatever that may be.
Hooray for ambiguity!

My opinion
Some parts can be assumed and moved foward (particularly Willow's work on Asher and Dash) but I think we need to at least know/decide some things....will Wyatt relieve his itchy finger and blast the sad sacks away? Will anyone be willing to fix the Marie Celeste just to see the sorry backsides of the Fulton family? Should they be forced to compensate Sam and Jim for the damage they caused? With the ship? With work on the farm? Looks like they were dustbowl farmers to start with, anyway.
Will Kora simply leave the ship, or do we need to cash out her share (we be low on cash type funds at the moment ... remember?)
Will Dash try something clever while Willow's tending to his hurts, and how much will Willow hurt him back for trying
Love to have Tann join asap, but as you can see, we seem to be short at least one episode of this here space soap

Will Dash what!?
"Will Dash try something clever while Willow's tending to his hurts, and how much will Willow hurt him back for trying?"
Hmmmm... Dash being Dash, I'd be willing to bet he'll have some *ahem* clever things to say while he's getting patched up... Don't know if Miss Wil would hurt him for 'em or not, though... She'd probably be more likely to reconsider that "no anesthesia, ever" bit, though, and make it "anesthesia even if I'm just taking that hog's temperature"...
Kidding, of course... Dash wouldn't "try anything" with Willow unless he was invited (she's family as opposed to fun where Dash is concerned)... he might talk a good game when it comes to the females on board but he wouldn't "compromise their honor". Now, that copper-haired hoochie standin' on the porch in her knickers... there be another story.

Sorry for any delays my late posting my have caused.
We could resolve things via email by way of what information we were able to glean total and what we did with the riff-raff, then move on.
Albeit, there are a lot of things that could still go down at the mine, so I'm going to have to agree with Mr. Ambiguity. I can go either way. Wyatt will go with the flow.
