I had fun with that one...

Well, my post is up. Yes, sadly, it did involve some significant copying and pasting, but there are also some changes within those copy and pastes. I tried to simulate what it would be like, trying to record things told orally.

Oh, Reralae and Kilmorrigan I don't know for sure if what I said about your characters, the talking fast and the accent. They were just small excuses to screw with the stories as I wrote them down. I did my best... but it's hard, you know?

well

I was waiting for more people to come up with stories. I'll update tomorrow, stories or not. After all, you've given them more than 1 tale already, so they should be satisfied.

Not that they were correct...

At least, not the whole thing. But more or less accurate... right? And that's good.

ok

no problem, but what does Tamuril mean when she says 'this evening'. Does the group intend on staying at the monastery overnight? It's only midday at the moment, and you haven't been invited to stay either. You've been asked to trade a drink and some shadow for a tale or two.

Now I could have the abbot react in whatever manner he would react to such a proposal, which is not a problem for me. Or you can alter your post, if it was a misunderstanding. It doesn't mean that either way would be bad, it means that there are just two options for this.

Regarding gboy

It is an incorrect assumption, but it doesn't matter too much...

Ocyari when she was little was hyperactive and fast-talking, but as she is now, she's far more subdued, and quieter too at times. I suppose it's my fault for not elaborating on the manner of her speech, so don't worry too much about it. After all, the point is the character didn't do too well of a job copying things down

Yeah...

My assumption on that. But, I needed a reason to screw it up. I hope it's okay... besides the wrong thing being written down and all that.

I'm glad you chose to put a bunch of errors in Perrin's attempt. Gives good roleplaying opp.

:(

I had written most of the post up to adding the poem and the battle hymn from Chakran Portal with bits a pieces of the story in verse. Then the computer hiccuped and I lost it. In time I will replace some of the story parts with actual verses of the song.

Will be working on the last part this week.

Almerin--I need to know some stuff about the Chakran Khords, I had a feeling that they were being enslaved and forced to work the mines. But I need it to finish my ending and to know if the Portals where useable, as I have it that the Khords used the portals to bring troops to free the Chakran Khords and then that army would move to attack the goblins with a elven army coming over the hills to trap the remnants of the Demon's armies in the valley.

I also figured that knowing that the trees and animal were infected by the essence of the Demon then killing him might cure them, and if not a banishment spell could also work--I would think.

RP is my middle name.

I'm glad you liked that Almerin.

I liked the part where I said Ocyari was a renown cookie. It was fun.

well

In fact, the story went quite differently: The Chakran Khords were indeed wiped out long ago. Some were left in spirit form to haunt the halls in the deepest of areas, but that's it.
The Goblins took Chakranna as their own, and have inhabited it ever since they attacked the Chakrandrum. The Chakran Portal was going to be used to plan an invasion into Khordal, but also there was a second agenda. The Portal had not been found by the goblins. Only a select group of dedicated goblin followers of a demon called Avesaath knew its location. They were going to unleash that demon through the portal into the realm of men, to become a new God on Audalis. Bits and pieces of that demon were already manifested into the material plane and were used to create the poison that infected the trees, which in turn infected the animals.

It was a wide-spanned plan to dominate the world.

hey

despite an early update, I have had only one response yet. Is something wrong? We're too early in the game to be having this kind of posting problems.

Maybe I should host a vampire-lycanthropes kind of game, they move at the speed of light.

I got swamped... oh, and the forgetful mind doesn't help too. -Edit: Posted.

Well, with all the huzz and buzz of my other games, and my real life stressed out life, I had forgotten about this. I had the intention to post right away after I saw the update. I will do that now.

Edit: I put my post up. Sorry about the delay. I should be more free now.
