I will be posting an actual game post as soon as I'm done with work. just been too busy to get anything else done. I'll also be pm'ing you an updated sheet for my character with the allowed changes. Hopefully all of that will get done tonight.

so....
what is the post rate hoping to be? I can do 3/week. but if others cannot do that then all is well. I just want to know so that I am not always coming on and looking to see if I need to post xD... cause my habit is to look for hours on end for an update >.<

i cheat
I have subscribed to all the threads involving this campaign. That way I get an email alert telling me what thread is updated. This has seemed to help keep me up-to-date on what's going on with each of the threads instead of me trying to check up on a thread multiple times a day and not see any update yet.
I'd suggest doing the subscribe thing at the bottom of the thread page if you have not done so for any of these threads.

lol
Thats not cheating, thats being prepared.
and I hope to get at least two posts a week. More would be better, but Im also looking for quality rather than quantity.
Just remember, the more you post gamewise, the faster we get to the end and the faster you level.

Subscribe
it seems to be a hit or miss, at least with me. This one is one that I have subscribed, and it has failed me. 2 post should be good for now, however, in November I am doing a writing contest, (NaNoWriMo). I may be around less then, but I will post whenever possible.

sense motive check
Tiamat, since a lot of that last conversation had some underlying themes to it, I was wanting to do a sense motive check just to make sure he was sincere plus get the full sense of the guard.
Also, if any of the group members were close enough would they also be able to tell if they guy was trying to buff us into going to the tavern or with the guard's "father" so we could be led into a trap OR if he was being as sincere as I thought he was.
We are still right outside of the room we met the priestess in and I'm pretty sure none of us were 100% fooled by her act/words. I can not help but think she knows more about where we are headed then she has revealed and I doubt even if asked she would tell us more unless we pried with some force (not such a good idea right now). So, I'm sure we are all a lil hesitant to just go rushing headfirst at the first piece of "advice" we get. (though I think Bruno might at the mention of the gnolls lol)
Sorry for the long post, let me know what you or anyone else thinks.

Im just the DM, what do I know?....
The guard is low enough on the totem pole to be honest. thats my take, but then I created him. lol
by the way, strike, are you or your character always this suspicious? Hes a guard, at his post, doesn't go very far from it.
Now Jaspina, is a true politician, shady as all get out, yeah shes hiding something, but Im not telling.
the commoners all have there suspicions, theories, and rumors about her, they dare not speak in the open, but in private there may be some who will give you an earful for a price (for they believe what they think they know to be truth, and the truth may set you free, but that doesn't mean it is free).

Suspicious?
Me, Suspicious? Never... lol
Yes, I would say that Patrick is very suspicious of those he does not know well. The guard seemed honest but with the priestess having been that close, we can never be too sure how far her "taint" runs...
I'm ok with Bruno not being at the bar when we discuss the trip with Talon. I don't want us going there and overbearing him, especially if we arrive too late to stop the drinks from flowing too quickly into the old man lol. I'm assuming my guy will try to handle most of the diplomatic discussions and issues where as Bruno or Isili will be our bouncers so to speak. They can handle the scare tactics if we need to force someone into doing something for us, though Patrick always hopes that is not needed on our quests.
I believe the rest of us are all heading to the bar to discuss the trip with Talon and I will post once we have arrived at the bar and have a setting to work with other then a generic Bar. What is everyone's thoughts on what to do once we get there and how to go about beginning the discussion with Talon?

Well I should have read Q/A
I should have read the Q/A before positing first to the bar keep's question. Leave it to the Elven rogue to jump in.

bed at noon... i think not
I was thinking that it might take some time for Bruno to find a pony of his taste. Shopping for an animal is serious stuff. You don't just waltz into some stable and say "Yar, I'z wantz yer best mount, and I'z wantz it now!" 100 gp to a skilled artisan is 100 days worth of money (PH 112), and over a years worth of raw earnings from a journeyman (PH 132). In short, this is the medieval day equivalent to buying a car. So I would presume that it would take a while to do. (By the way, I did not have a pony at the very beginning, so I am also presuming that a pony just does not appear out of no where and I have 100 less gp)... man I am presuming a lot aren't I? I guess that is because I usually have to play DM with my friends... sorry if I am being an extreme bother xD
