well i've always played where initiative is each round, so we're gonna play like that, and ya we'll do it a way which tuned out has described so kinda like that. i figured we shoudl talk about it quick before anything happens.

and ya zephyr, i'll be doing all the rolls after the players post their actions and it wil most definitely be descriptive :p

Almost a week in from the first post and only myself and T_O have replyed... even if Valandril didn't say anything at least he is doing something.

yes, everyone if you could update by Monday that'd be great, or i'm gonna have to npc your characters. I'm not gonna delay the game, and I haven't received PM's from anyone about any delay or even a simple summary of actions.

Yup, I've read them all and I'm very pleased taht everyone was able to get them all in! I'm at work at the moment and tonight I have a DnD session, but I have tomorrow and tuesday off so It'll be up by then.

We have officially a new player, DarkAutumn! She will be joining us in this next update (which I'm working on right now -.-) Theres also makings of a sixth and final player adding in also, rounding out the group quite nicely!

That is good, because DarkAutumn would make 5 and we cannot have a group of 5 (as previous discussion has indicated).

Does anyone mind if I back post a bit, there are things I would like to cover? (Perhaps I'll post them here so that others can respond to them)

Honestly, I don't mind a bit of railroading, but I didn't expect you to progress us so far. I guess a disadvantage I'll have to get used to again is that you cannot interrupt the DM to have a quick RP session.

And I had the great pleasure of meeting DA last night. A welcome addition indeed!

Only thing I can say for now is Basyl doesnt own a bedroll. He's been aboard ships during his time -doesnt make much sense to him. He does however have a cloak and rope, so he would most likely attempt a makeshift hammock in one of the trees. With this in mind I'll have a post up later tonight.

I've got to head out for a funeral followed by a shift of work. I'll catch up with you later.

Does Valandril reconise the voise or the nickname shouted?
Valandril will also have made a check, about at the same time they were making camp, to see what he thought the weather would do overnight and in the morning. I'd like to take a 10 on this check please.

Once Natalie has left Valandril will smile and comment in halfling "Rapskallion"

Everyone:
It becomes apparent over the days journey that where as Valandril can understand Common he either seems to be unable to speak it or unwilling to speak it. He'll only speak to the two humans in Elven, and to the halfling in Halfling.
He will also remain a silent partner for much of the trip, only contributing to conversations about everyone's history, why everyone is doing this 'quest'/'mission'/assignment, where to camp and the watch roter.
He's going to ask a bit about everyone's history, a bit about why everyone is doing this, suggest that as he was a scout in an army (not saying which) he should do the scouting, and sugest that he does not take the first or second watch.
If there is anything you specificaly want to know about Valandril please ask me instead of taking anything from what I submitted to Jozan for the Q&A.

back posting is always fine, but I have to cover a decent amount of time as I post or we'll get no where in this game fast. If you guys wanna rp and stuff, feel free to do it in between updates and such. It's ok to post more than once and if you guys are Rping conversations you can post up something short just as a response or what not, but unfortunately as Loki stated it's impossible to be able to stop the DM during an update if you wanted to do something for the day, but to remedy this as I said back posting if fine.

Just managed to get a little window of time here.

I'll probably back post some of the traveling towards the campsite. A bit of talking to Render, as he is the only other 'chatty' member. And as mentioned above I'll likely have him up a tree trying to secure a makeshift hammock for lack of a bedroll.

Already have reactions in mind for both DA's arrival and Render's tactics.

Will be able to compose everything more concretely later this evening. I'm excited!
