Starfleet and Romulan Lower Ranks
I can find the names of officers for Starfleet and the Romulan Galae (Navy), but nothing on the lesser ranks.
I also noted the Sub Centurion. Here is his name Erie’Arrain (Sub-Centurion) Talon i'Iuruth D’mora, I have already put in some information about him. Also I have added information about Sienae.
Now on another note, I swear you read my mind. I had my post ready to go yesterday, except for editing and then you came up with your bit about the Tal Shiar. You can bet the she has nothing to do with them.
I just love character twists and here is another. Sienae is a throwback to her Vulcan ancestors, height and psionic ability. Her mid brain, the psionic center, is well developed. She can also do a Vulcan nerve pinch.

a note on romulan ranks...
...I also have had no luck in finding names for romulan ranks.
However, I have not found any canon info citing the "Sub-Centurion" rank. From what I have found, it goes like this (lowest to highest):
Sub-Lieutenant
Lieutenant
Centurion
Sub-Commander
Commander
Admiral

Good stuff...
...nice set up of your character DM. Just a couple of Trek-geek/GM nit-picks, if you please.
- Please tack a header on to your post... Stardate, starting location, etc
- Cerberus is docked at Starbase 10 and will be en route to DS9... as far as I'm aware there is no DS10.
Aaaand, as far as lower ranks in the RSE, it appears that anything... anything... below Sub-lieutenant is an Uhlan. (This according to Memory Alpha and a few other resources I've looked into...If this is not the case and someone knows otherwise, please let us know.)
Carry on, haggis!

Charon
So it is ok to post in the Cerebeus thread for a crew of the Charon? Still not sure where the game stands for the Charon.
WHere is the Charon now? Is it on DS9?
I dont think I can handle two characters in this game so I will stick with the Charon CTO.
Hmm.. got alot of things to figure out for this one. Should have paid more attention to Star Trek huh? : :

charon posts
I believe the Charon is en route to Ds9 right now. That crew has been together for some time, as opposed to the Cerberus, which is newly staffing.
To my knowledge, we are posting to the one game thread only. Brom may want to do it differently, and if so, that's fine - we can always move a post to the other thread, if need be.
I am pretty sure that you need to flesh out your character a bit before you post, though I have no doubt anythign you do will be just fine.

I hope the timelines are right in reference to his service record and what not... Decided to go for Chief of Security aboard the Cerberus if possible.

Either or, Kae...
If you want to linger at DS9, feel free; however, I foresee Cerberus making a stop or two en route and we can get you picked up, then.

sure...
...and for that matter, you could easily come aboard now while we are at SB10.

Yeah... that's an option, too...
Nothing says that you can't come aboard at SB10.
Heck, Cerberus will be in spacedock for another "two days" or so (game time) and, it's not outside the realm of possibility that Valberg's already got his assignment and is already en route to board up.

ranks...
There are a million websites out there. Usually, we try to refer back to canon information wherever possible.
A fantastic reference for such things is Memory Alpha - the star trek wiki.
Their ranks follow the ones I posted, except with the addition of Uhlan, which Eol had pointed out was omitted.

Well there should always be some license with these things
True enough Olan, although there should always be some license given to people who play races that are a bit fuzzy in Trek lore. And Romulans certainly fall into that category! (as do Andorians for that matter)

no argument, here!
Oh, absolutely! I'm not at all trying to come down on Dragon Mistress, or on anyone else.
The thing is, on things like this, unless the GM decides that there should be an exception made, we try to set up some standards - not the smallest reason being that I base the trek tools off of information we deem to be canon.
If you take a look at the roster, you'll note that we have rank patches set up for everyone. I have no graphic for a sub-centurion, you see.
