POST UP

This job is boring, as is sea life. I will allow it to be such if you two choose not to interact. I'd like to see several 'hi hello, fancy seeing you here' posts before I move on. Will update with the other two characters when they have finished their sheets.

THAT MEANS YOU Lamewolf and Grugg. Lamewolf, please update per the above post. Grugg HURRY! You're needed. Monks are great on the water!

EDIT: The image posted is the closes I could find to the ship you are on. It is a bit larger, but with a similar sail structure, and it does (believe it or not) have a crows nest...of sorts...

Did I do summat wrong?

I was simply waiting for the opening post to go up before I posted. After all, I need at least a little info to work with. After trying and not finding any posts, I gave up for a few days. Now, suddenly, I'm holding things up?

Will read, send changed data, and work up my intro as soon as I post this ...

[on edit]

If he had known anything at all about travel on the sea, Jon could imagine that he would have asked a few more questions. But he was here now and would have to make the best of it. His few meager days of rations would be gnawed on sparingly, only if necessary to subdue the taste of rising bile from the boat's offered fare, or to curb the growling of his stomach if he missed a meal (or two or three). And he could have just sat and let others do the work that supposedly needed to be done, but he also could imagine the commander of the boat suddenly saying "oh, my!" as he "accidentally" bumped him over the side. And who knew how long this discomfort would continue?

He longed to really, actually, go for a stretch-his-legs walk, but one didn't just hop over the side of a boat and jog next to it, just for the opportunity of variety of travel. You could do that on a wagon, but not on a boat. This was his first taste of the less-than-comfortable sort of life he had heard of, but never dreamed he would experience. The only thing that kept him from even thinking about turning back as soon as he arrived in the Sylvania Isles was the prospect of making his "name and fame" far from that of his father's circle of reknown.

don't misunderstand

Lamewolf, try not to take anything I say too seriously. I was waiting on Grugg's character ad your PM (which was delivered very quickly) when I sent the last post. I tend to be very blunt about things and meant no hard feelings. I'll get the intro for you two up today.

Edit: Intro up

I'll have a post today probably.

changed the picture

After a lengthy discussion with a close friend who knows sailing, I have posted a more accurate depiction of the ship you are on. Other than the lack of a crow's nest in the photo, it is almost precisely what you'll be dealing with.

Let's get this going.

Grugg, Addy, POST! I don't even know the other two guys and they're showing more respect for my game than you two

Come on, I'd like to move things along a bit. Otherwise, boring sea travel really is going to last 3 weeks.

Two Things

The flag on the ship was British.

And I'll post tonight or tomorrow. Sorry I took so long.
