"Yes."

Ciridia tilted her head. "Of course I said your name. Now I have a question for you: Have you ever considered raping me?" She crossed her arms after she asked.

"Rape? Such a heavy term. I would prefer to call it entice. Though to answer the question... the previous night at the witch's house was rather tempting. Why do you ask?"

"Because I was simply wonderig. Because I've thought about it."

Ciridia uncrossed her arms and turned away again.

"You've thought about it?"

D'Artigo lets out a loud laugh. He truly found that funny. The one who had tried to kill him... twice, in fact... was enticed by his mysteriousness. He knew she would be. It was always just a matter of time.

"What have you thought about exactly Lyca? Me coming after you, or you coming after me?"

"You after me. Then again, that wouldn't be rape if I was willing."

She started walking again.

Again, he laughed. "There you go. Now you understand why I was offended when I was accused of rape. It's not rape. I make sure that the women are willing first. I attract too much attention as it is, no need to become hated by everyone, not just the slayers."

"Psh. You're too full of yourself."

"I live on reputation. If I'm full of myself, it's because other people have convinced me that I deserve to be."

Ciridia turned around and crossed her arms again.

Suddenly, she reached out and grabbed the edge of his mask, pulling it off.

For what seemed like a long time, D'Artigo just stood there, his face exposed, and his mouth open wide. He was in shock. Someone had just removed his mask. In a manner, which he had not pictured happening. His face, revealed, clearly showed the 28 scars lining his face. Looking down to Erina's hand, where the mask was, then back up at her. His expression began changing, from one of shock, to one of neutrality, then one of anger. Eyes, no longer help a blue hue, and they turned so red, the pupils were no longer visible, his eyes simply a dark crimson. His fangs - now for the first time visible - extended two inches out from under his lips. Hands coming forward from under his cloak, he speaks with an icy edge to his voice.

"Couldn't resist yourself, could you? You just had to walk into unknown territory, didn't you?" Walking forward quickly, D'Artigo raised his hand and slapped Erina directly in the face, knocking her down. Immediately after, he falls on her, pinning her to the ground. "You know, I could kill you, right here, right now. You just needed to see what was under the mask didn't you? Well look. Look at me! Scarred and brutalized! Scars that will never disappear! Scars of the past, of who I am! I will give you one chance to give that back to me, or you will regret it."

"THEN I WILL FU**CKING REGRET IT BECAUSE YOU CAN GET THE HE** OVER YOURSELF!" Ciridia yelled, not even bothering to fight back.

"You can kill me right now and I won't even care. So just go ahead. But before you do, you should know that hiding behind a mask makes you look like a fool." Ciridia went limp and closed her eyes, waiting to die.

(Great, there goes my spot in the game T.T I wish she wouldn't be killed, but her fate's up to gboy. I'm screwed.)

Raising his hand, he slaps her again. Hard. However, his voice has no hint of emotion in it anymore. "You little, insolent poor baby." Another slap. "You just don't get it do you? Killing is only short term... and if I raised you, you'd be here forever? I can't stand people like you." Again, a slap. "This mask was given to me by my sire. Do you know why she gave it to me? So that I could hide. Because she promised if she found me again, I would die. And before I died, I would re-live the night of how I died the first time." This time, a backhand. His hand was getting sore from how hard he was hitting her. "This mask is to remind me that I can always be worse. I could always be like her. A sick, murdering bitch. But no. I promised myself I'd be better than that." A second backhand. "You think you know what it's like to be through hard times, but you know nothing! Nothing! You got raped. Big deal. That happens to everyone. You're not special! It's what you do with your life, and how you plan to make this a better world that makes you different from the low life's that walk the earth. And right now, you're doing nothing!

Sinking his fangs into her neck, D'Artigo continues to talk. Though it's slightly harder to understand him, it's still possible. "I'm not going to drink you dry. You don't deserve that. Nor am I going to have sex with you. You don't deserve that either. No, I'm going to suck just enough blood from you that you'll be alive... barely. And while you're here, recovering from blood loss, think about you. Why people make foolish mistakes, and why we can't accept one's reasons for doing things. Think about today, how you almost died. About how I was nice enough to let you live."

Finishing his drink, D'Artigo stands up, looking at the twin holes in Lyca's neck, blood still dripping from them. Nudging her with his foot, making sure that she wasn't getting up soon. Forcefully grabbing her wrist, and taking his mask back from her hand, he fastens it back to his face. "Think. And remember. Next time... there is no halfway."

Jessica stood there kinda in shock. She ran through the conversation in her mind. Sure Lyca shouldn't have taken the guy's mask off. Stil UGH. She shuddered. Jessica never wanted to see that ever again. When she was positive the vampire was gone. She went to Lyca side. Jessica stopped the bleeding. She carefully picked her up. Lyca could bite her but Jessica wouldn't get effected. Jessica hurried to Miv. Miv would know what to do.

When Jessica came to Miv, she thought Ciridia was dead. But there was a pulse. Miv sighed and held a hand over her neck, healing it but leaving two scars.

"Awaken." Ciridia's eyes snapped open. Miv hugged her and Jessica. "You two must be careful. Please, don't ever do that again."

Ciridia lookedn at her when she pulled back. Miv stared at her. "Wear a necklace from now on: the bite marks made a scar." She held out a black strip of cloth and Ciridia tied it around her neck, covering the marks.

Miv told Jessica to watch her and went off to find D'Artigo. "You are so dead, you ba**st**." She growled under her breath.

Jessica watched Miv go afer Lycan biter. He had been warned. She sighed and felt her wallet in her pocket. There should be enough for her to buy painkillers if Lyca was in pain. Jessica asked "Does your neck hurt at all? I've got some money on me. I could buy painkillers."
