Hot Dang..........
I do believe that the Security Section just got their foot stuck in it. Oh this is going to play well.
And I was thinking John was going to get more ship to ship combat tactical experience.
Oh, but that could be in the cards too.
This is going to be hoot.
Brennus, watch for my email tonight. Momma Bear did have some honey do's for today. So much for a day off.

Into the frying pan
Well it's probably time for a department meeting then.

Interesting indeed
Though not totally surprising. This is the kind of stuff Trek is made of from what I have seen.
Should make things more interesting and busy for the Security Department especially.
I have a question. What is the deal with Lt. Moriden and the wheezing? Does she had bad asthma or is this an inside joke that I just don't get?

Also
In typical Trek fashion this is where shortly afterwards the Coronado suffers some catastrophe. I'm just saying.

Benzite's
Lt. Moriden is a Benzite, they have to wear a special breathing apparatus in order to breath in an Nitrogen-Oxygen Atmosphere. The wheezing sound is said device.

ding ding ding!
Brennus is correct!
Well, I mean, c'mon. If we just showed up, escorted the Coronado, and everything went smoothly... it wouldn't be much of an adventure, would it?
As for what's in store... hopefully, everyone will enjoy it.

Ahhhh
I see. I didn't know that. I saw that she was non-human but I didn't know that race required the breathing thing. I thought it was just bad asthma
Yeah. No boring missions here.
Hmmm. Have to work on Nurse Cook's hangover post.

http://movieweb.com/star-trek-new-tv-series-2017-poster-next-chapter/

New TV series
Yeah it sounds good but I don't like this aspect of it:
The new TV series will debut on CBS in early 2017, but the full series itself will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, the Network's digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service.
So it will only be available on a streaming service? So now we have to pay all the networks to stream there content? Cable is bad enough and now this?
Geek about a new series but not keen on paying more for another streaming service.

No worries
With streaming comes multiple ways to see it. Even hulu gets the stuff that requires blah access cause of cool contracts. It'll get picked up.
And yay meeting and adventure! Hypo sprays set to maximum. Tricoder readings detect awesome ahead.
* epic drum riff!*

Actually...
The new series will not be available on any service except for CBS's new streaming service. It has a lot of fans rather up in arms. There are sites where people upload episodes of pretty much every current show out there, but that will be the only option other than CBS's service.
I personally think it's a butthead move, and will not be supporting them as a paying customer. But that's just me.
Not a fan of CBS right now anyway, with the Axanar lawsuit and all.

Another question regarding the ship.
The security Ward room, is that essentially the security office? Do I have my own office?

Office....
The Ward room is more of a meeting room and the is a Security Office that you have. I'd say you'd share it with the Watch Officer in Security. Check a couple of pages back in Q&A and see the picture I put in of a Star Fleet Security Section. Ours would be similar bit only about half as big. No dinning area, that would be cells and about the end of the section.
