objects Thondrek wants
1/day True Strike Clasp - 720 gold. CL1xSL1xCommand Word 1800 /times/day 5(divided by uses) =360gp x 2 for no space limitation.
2 x scrolls of invisibility (150gp each)
2 x potions Cure Moderate wounds (300gp each)
Caster's Shield (3153 gp) +1 light wooden shield allows 1 spell of up to 3rd level to be cast into it.
(would like haste cast within the shield if possible (750gp)
That will work for now. Unsure how to post going about looking for this stuff without your being able to reply.

here's your reply, hopefully we can sort things out a bit
a +1 weapon of frost is 8000, the cost is similar to a +2 weapon, as the DMG puts it...
About that list of magical items: I have no clue what a 1/day True strike clasp is... Thought I can imagine what it does (cast True Strike once a day), I don't understand what that whole math summary means. Also, I think that using True Strike AND attacking in the same round is something that shouldn't happen. There was a reason they reduced the power of the HASTE spell in 3.5, and I fully agree.
Scrolls, potions and Caster Shield ok, although I would like to know the exact use of the Caster Shield (activating it is a move action? standard action? In what book can I find it?)

CAster shield is in the dmg...
truestrikeclasp was made using the creating magic items table in the DMg under no space limitationruling. Ie it doesn't takeup an item slot.
And activating it would be like speaking a command word, no AoO the same as activating any other ability, such as the dimension door ability of the cape of the monteback (alsoin the DMG and used as the premise for command wordmagic item creation)
Activating it would use up my 1swift/action per round I'm thinking.
Caster’s Shield: This +1 light wooden shield has a small leather strip on the back on which a spellcaster can scribe a single spell as on a scroll. A spell so scribed has only half the base raw material cost. Experience point and component costs remain the same. The strip cannot accommodate spells of higher than 3rd level. The strip is reusable.
A random caster ’s shield has a 50% chance of having a single medium scroll spell on it. The spell is divine (01–80 on d%) or arcane (81–100).
A caster’s shield has a 5% arcane spell failure chance.
Moderate abjuration; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Scribe Scroll, creator must be at least 6th level; Price 3,153 gp (plus the value of the scroll spell if one is currently scribed); Cost 1,653 gp + 120 XP.

Well...
Hmmmm yes (remembering that) Then I suppose I would have done something else. But that is up to you if I change my post.
Though I could easily find up how things are if the Goblin runs from me or yells for backup or both.
I did go back into my CS and found reasons why I was probably choosen for this job, my Languages; Common and Elven, Draconic, Dwarf, Goblin, Orc, Sylvan, Terran, +? Have not decided which would the last one maybe Undercommon.

comp
yes, Tann, you have an animal companion. Actually, you had two, remember? They were ferrets I thought.
Kaelyn, I will allow the caster shield, I think, but the true strike, I'm not too sure about. The thing is, I don't know if I use swift actions, and like I said before: I think casting + using true strike in one round is brutal. If I'm going to allow it, you will be sure to encounter similar combinations from your attackers, and I'm not sure I want this game to be that power-playish (even though it's only once a day spell). So I'm not going to have you find one, I hope you can pick something else.

what if..
It's a standard or move equivalent action.. I could alwaysactivate just before combat. I mean it's not like it has to be Activate move and attack in one round, but more of a "look it's the enemy" activate true strike. initiatives begin, then take one's turn.

ok
if cast in advance it's no problem, since that way you aren't able to pick on which attack you have the bonus. Using the clasp in the same round as your attack is only going to happen if you are able to sacrifice a standard action for it.
That will be my ruling, whether it contradicts the official rules or not. Since the thing is: if this rule is true for a first level spell, it is going to be true for a third level spell. And I don't want people ending up with the capability of hurling two fireballs in one round.
(besides, the PHB says that activiting a magical item costs a standard action unless stated otherwise in the description).

sense motive
Dragon M, you don't have to roll your own dice for skill-checks. I do that for my players, just to make sure they don't cheat.
Sense motive is pretty much an exeption to this rule, since your character senses whatever the player senses. So if you think the goblin is tricking you, you can make your character think the same. No sense motive check required. You can always request a SM-check if you are in doubt.

Sensing Motive
OK I think I put her reasoning in for why she is doing what she is doing in the post. This should be interesting.
Edited my post of rolls. What I was doing was trying to play my character and not just myself.

Irritating!?!?!
I am hurt and offended Tann! How can a man who never speaks be irritating!? Curse elves and their haughty aloofness!
Anyways, For those of you *cough* Alyssa* who wants more of a chance to roleplay against/with Draven, now is one of those opportunities.
