Really?

Can't say that I've ever played it... but I'm going to now.

Have to find that one somewhere and get the family involved.

You totally should!

It's one of my favorite board games.

Our favorite card is the 'Last Night on Earth' card... the zombies can play it on the humans. We've only managed to use it once... you have to have a male and female character sharing the same space (the preist is exempt ), and when played they loose their turn. It's amusing.

Here it is
But you can of course find it any any 'geeky' store that sells games. Has a few expansions that are good too.

bring me my brown pants!!!

That was intense!

Poor Mac! That had to smart!

Okay, so, we've got six zombies left (including Zombie-Jake), right? And a, to this point, unknown/unseen, bible-verse spouting guy with a cannon providing us some cover for the moment... Any way to tell where that booming shot and voice came from?

Also, I'm thinking "fall back" into the store for defensive purposes, gang, toppling shelves and stuff in hopes of slowing the zombie surge and maybe creating a choke point that will give us a better chance at onesies and twosies? Thoughts, input, suggestions, disagreements!

okay

First of all - sunow4: thanks for playing with us. This is the end of Jake's career as a controllable player character. If you'd like to play again at a later date, please PM me.

The shot appears to have come from across the street (judging from the engle of the wound/blood spatter)... the general direction of Treasure Island.

As for Mac: the bounty hunter is seriously wounded (I mean it - this is bad) and probably fighting shock. He is neither dead nor fully incapacitated, though melee will probably be tough for him. Knowledge check (DC 0 for those with treat injury skill): blood loss is liable to be a major concern. The wound is high enough that it should not have hit a vital organ, but the left arm usage will almost certainly be impacted.

Exact numbers of enemies are not quite clear, due to line of sight, but it's in the half dozen territory. Jake ran off, so it's not sure whether or not he will join the rush against the hardware store.

Three cheers for Rev Artillery!!!

That was well worth the wait, Grugg!

We'll all do our best to see to it that Padre Teddy don't get geeked too soon.

Very lovely work with the Bible quotes too.

Priest

I was actually going to create a priest type character if Alaster had died but now that that is taken I will have to return to my other idea. By the way amazing post grugg. Seriously not to diminish the posts by others but that one was completely well thought out and amazing. Alaster might not like you and you might not like him. he be an athiest!

Our argument will be undoubtably short.

LOL @ religeous debate

Well, Murph's of Irish descent and lives in Chicago, so it stands to reason that he's likely got "Catholic" on his dogtags... *shrug*... Doubt he's been a "good, practicing catholic" in the past years but, if this works out for the better, I'll bet he'd let Father Teddy hear his confession.

Posted, btw!

See ya in your next life, sunow! Sorry Jake had to go...

New Character

Well I've come up with a new character pretty quickly. I need to catch up with the game first but I'll let you know when I'm ready to go.

Here is my new character if you'll have him:

Name: Aaron 'Flea' Lote
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Occupation: Bartender
Looks: Fair skin complexion with shaggy black hair. He wears a long sleeved white shirt with the sleeve rolled up to his elbows with gray denim pants. He has a Sterling Silver St. Christopher necklace and a cross with an onyx in the middle. He has black skate shoes.

Items: $34 in tips, M9 Pistol with 14 bullets(around one clip), Airborne(cough medicine that you drop in water and let dissolve).

Skills: Knows how to cook and make drinks etc., decent at sweet talking and persuasion(if thats a skill, lol)

Personality: Aaron is the kind of person who is slow to overcome his fears. He is brave in situations he is comfortable with and every once in a while he'll take a leap of faith and try something new but Aaron was never one for change. He sees things as his instincts tell them they are and he listens. If his reason overpowers his instinct he will listen to the stronger feeling. He is always thinking about what to do before he does it.

Background: Aaron lived in Norway with his family living a happy life. He grew up as a good school boy getting all A's and going to church like all good little boys. He was always picked on by the bigger boys for being weaker thus he earned the name, 'Flea'. He grew up to be a bartender at a nice little tavern a few blocks away from his home.
one day he met a girl while working who he immediately took a likeing to. They quuickly became close friends and went on vacation to Chicago together. They were just about to leave when the riots started. Karen(his girlfriend) was pushed out in front of a car during one of the earlier riots and was killed. Aaron didn't know what to do. The riots got more and more deadly and more casualties were reported each day and airlines were shut down to prevent the pandemic from enteing countries across seas. He went back to his hotel and took the M9 pistol he always carried at his side or in his jacket with him. He boarded up in the Circle 8 Hotel him and his girlfriend had stayed in and has stayed there ever since.

Caught up..... I think......

Well I'm pretty sure I'm caught up good enough. I heard someone mention something about a hotel to bunker up in, well my new character has been in a hotel for a couple days. A Circle 8 Hotel, so if that's how you can bring my next character in(if you bring him in), thatt'd be a good place. I already have a dastardly idea.....
