Gracias

I appreciate all of the recent posts. This fool forgot to bring his charging cord for his laptop and has used up all of the battery power. I will be posting Monday.

I decided to move things forward today.

Surprise! I advanced the game today instead of Monday. I've got to do something to keep you meatbags on your toes.

Tann, the dice weren't always in Casino's favor, but that's what Creative Currency is for. I used 5 Creative Currency to keep Casino alive. You can see your remaining currency on your character sheet. I've also awarded 1 IP in Dodge & Escape because... well... he used it a lot and it saved his life. Now you have a decision to make. You have no idea how long the firefight in the lobby will take, you have some terrorists that are still alive, Casino is still wounded, has a submachine gun and three ways out of the emergency room: two halls and back into the lobby.

Everyone else, only Ghlahn is aware of the pending threat. You all are high-tailing it towards the door to the admin building. Oh, and Keeper, I awarded Ghlahn 1 IP in Awareness/Notice because if he hadn't caught sight of that light, who knows what would happen.

*rubs hands together* Ain't this fun?

Wow.... just.... wow

First I must say f***ing wow! Excellent post for the whole party dude! That as far as the games you and I have played in is, at least to me, the best damn post you have ever written. By the end of Casino's part my heart was pumping

And a large thank you go's out to your dice....

Thank you little fella's

Also can you send me an updated character sheet as to the points and so on.

Oh one more thing..... Just how badly wounded am I once again? Am I bleeding again or is it all just blunt force damage that hurts like hell but will only bruise? Any broken bones etc...

Glad you liked it!

The dice are just the Inn's dice roller tool, so thank Olan's programming.

Casino is in the serious wound category (-2 to REF). The shots to the chest will cause some serious bruising, but his armor protected him from penetration. The arm/shoulder is the problem.

I was afraid of that

So how fast can I move? I know the Pain Editor will lower the pain but can I like climb out a window and such?

Any chance if I do heavy lifting like things I may pass out?

Arm not functioning at 100%.

The pain editor will numb the pain and so long as Casino isn't moving the arm he won't feel a thing. The tumble he attempted reopened the barely calculated wound and it is bleeding profusely again. Moving the limb feels like dragging your arm through water but because of the pain editor, Casino will only feel a dull ache. Is he at risk from passing out due to shock or the pain? Maybe. So far he's made the checks he's needed to in order to not pass out. The greater risk right now is bleeding into a critical wound state now that he's bleeding again.

Ok then

So as long as I don't move the arm not a lot of pain. If I can stop the bleeding will I be out of danger of passing out or death?

How high of a pain level can the Editor combat. I mean a high amount of pain all at once?

Pain Editor...

The Pain Editor: This coprocessor overides the pain receptors of the brain, making the subject impervious to torture, deprivation or physical hardship. It doesn't mean he isn't getting hurt, just that he won't notice it until he collapses (make Endurance Skill checks, but at two levels of difficulty lower than normal).

Casino is in an emergency room. Chances are there's something with which he can stop the bleeding. The big question is, does he know what that is and is it labeled so that he can find it? The answer would be, not likely. Casino doesn't have any ranks in First Aid. The most he can do is apply a tourniquet. Unless, that is, you want him to spend more time searching through the medical supplies on hand for something that strikes him as a blood coagulant. So far, he's been making his Endurance Skill checks. If he doesn't stop the bleeding soon he will drop into the next wound category which attaches a negative to those checks.

It is up. Fixer will take a look at the door, attempt to open it after a quick scan for alarms. No use opening the door if it is just going to trigger alarms. If it is locked, he will immediately pull out whatever piece of equipment needed to get him into it. Codescanner, cardscanner or just good ole B&E tools for a mechanical lock.

Tourn-a-turn...

I rarely make arbitrary decisions and in this case, Tann, the dice decided.

Excellent posts so far. Looking forward to the rest.

Vegas info

Brom would you please re-send the info for Vegas ???

Also, regarding the Taser that he possesses, does it have to recharge or does it 'fire multiple rounds' like his other weapons?

It's all good

I've got a post in mind and will start writing it up tonight.

One last question, are the helmets and suits attached? What I mean is can I put my hand up under one to gain access to the neck without taking the helmet off?

Yup and Yup.

Hammer, check your PM for the link.

Tann, the masks are high-end military combat masks, so yes. You can. You could even take one if you wanted to. +1 second.
