About loading ...
..... that Avatar in your Profile!
The Avatar you see of mine in both the D2 and RDInn sites was loaded from the Avatar that was saved in our laptop at home!
I requested the Avatar to be loaded at the RDInn when I first arrived here, but after a few days I went ahead and chose one from the Avatars available from the RDInn!
My Green Avatar just showed up here at the RDInn one day a few weeks later!
So if it is an Avatar of your own choice that you want to load, then it has to be approved by whoever is in control of the Avatars at the RDInn, which may take several days or a few weeks to process!
Does that answer your question?

You are gonna have to ...
..... somehow get Death Stud to see your new Avatar for Sentinel the Small [ha ha!]
Glad you were able to figure out how to create italics in your messages and how to import an Avatar!

Okay guys ...
..... I will be flying to Bahrain in the morning to exit Qatar and return later in the day to renew my visa so I can stay in Qatar for another six months!
I will check in at the RDInn upon my return as I expect all to go well without any incidents!
Depending upon what time I get home and if there is a new post from Trip by the time I return, then I will respond accordingly here in the Q&A and also at An Evil in Orlane if appropriate!

Have returned ...
..... and am checking all the threads!
Had a minor problem convincing the ladies at the immigration desk that after stamping my entry they needed to write six months on the entry!
They were leaving it blank and told me my business visa was still good for 3 more years [inferring I could stay 3 years! ]
But I replied that after living here for 4 years at the same address and being here the past 6 years that all my entry stamps were signed with six months!
After some persuasion they checked the number of entry stamps in my passport and decided they should sign it six months, after I told them I had to go to the immigration office one time to get the entry straightened out after a man signed it for 1 month [which I could not read and had to ask one of our Arabic translators to read what was written on the entry stamp!]
I also told them I would have to make another trip to the immigration office if they did not sign the entry stamp six months, so they thumbed through my passport and signed the six months for the new entry!
So All Is Well With Hammer as far as today's entry back into the country goes!

I think we should head out to the Temple now if it's not to late in the day!
Maybe the Hermit knew about us because he controls all those people with the glazed over stares in town? Or he is like the Beastmaster and can talk to animals and see threw their eyes?

Group 1 and the stench
Well, that was a stinky boring mess. Perhaps 3 casks of wine would make for an entertaining evening?
Ok, beyond that . . . the doors are the obvious next move. I'm ok letting Sentinel continue to post - especially since we probably want him to check the two doors for traps. Perhaps we should check both doors for traps - and perhaps also have Oriel take a close sniff next to both doors - although it sounds like that is fruitless. Then we pick a door and go through.
What's the best order for that? The big guy Deathstalker leads the way? Or Gunther? Oriel and his bow? How do we want to light it? As a non-infravision human, Oriel will want the lantern (fewer jumping shadows than the torch) lighting the way. The rest of us can sort of stand in a semi-circle around the door as it is being opened.
Also - did we officially search this dump for secret doors? I think we intended to do so, but I'm not sure it was ever formally mentioned in Trip's response. (Trip - did we do that?)
Also, did we notice if the door down here looked like it was burst damaged by being opened from the bottom or from the top? I'm not sure if this was ever asked.
Lets get the next post up and keep things rollin'...

Sentinel
is thinking similarly - smell and trap test and yank open doors - the left (north) one first - we will be prepared - wine casks for the trailor later ,,,, other comments?

No on secret doors
Nothing was detected, no traps or secret doors in the basement. Also the outside of both doors were checked, neither have traps, just to alleviate that much of posting.

I am all for going to the temple now. If it was 4pm when this started we should have enough time to walk over there before dark.

Behind Door #1...
Ok, Trip's post clears up part of our next task.
I think all that is left is to nail down how we open the door - where people stand. I guess I'd suggest a big guy do it and the rest of us stand in a semi-circle to be able to act collectively if needed, but I am open to suggestions from those who have opened cellar doors before.

Group 1 Regarding opening doors ...
..... according to the character sheet that Trip Emailed to me at the beginning of this adventure ... Gunther has a score of 9 on Open Doors, but I have no idea how that relates to the quality of his ability to do so?
What I do know is that Gunther has a protective aura that extends 10 feet ahead of him and if he has to free both hands to open the door, then he does have a measure of protection if something attacks before he can get his Medium Shield and BroadSword armed and ready!
