Woot - most of us are back!
Glad to see the posts!
question to the DM: we are in a combat round? Since the last DM post, I've recovered from being stunned, drunk a potion, heard from Char about the invisible mages and been grabbed by Kilgim. I'm guessing that I don't have time in the round to do anything? Please let me know.

Hello
Yes I am still here. I am really bad at giving myself time for myself.
Anyway, I am off all next week and if I don't update all my games by the end of the week, Cathy will probably hurt me - badly.
As I have hinted before, we are so near the end of this adventure, which is really a McGuffin to the next adventure (Look it up on Wiki). I want to keep this going but once this is finished, it will be a good time for players to bail and new ones to come abroad.

I'm confused. It almost reads as though Roger doesn't want the same group of players.

Hey I be here no matter what if I have to drop games due to school somewhere down the road this is not one of them.
Out of 7 games, not including Trilogy, I am in at the moment there are two games I will not drop unless there is no other choice and CWWLLO is one of them.
So get your A** posting Daddy and lets play this d**n game already..................

But on a serious note based on your post it seems Jal may be buying the farm, does this have anything to do with Eol's return to the Inn.?

Robert
Unfortunately, I have heard nothing from Rob in so long, including direct emails to him asking him if he is coming back. In this campaign, I have been slow to post partially because I was waiting (though the baby delayed things mostly). So, yes, Jal may be sacrificing himself for the team unless I hear from him soon.
It is harder in my Firefly/Serenity game, as he plays a pivotal role, and I hate NPCing a major player.

oi
Man, I hope not. Jal is such a cool character, I hate to see him die in a plot device.
'course, I'd likely have killed him already, myself, so I certainly can't judge.

All PCs are plot devices
This is classic D&D. Even if I collaspe the building on him, while setting him on fire and forcing him to compete on American Idol - there is always a way he can come back.

Eyes (and ears) of the beholder...
Would that be cruel to him, or us? I despise reality television. One of the worst advents of modern "entertainment", and boy do I use that term loosely.

Best way to save him is to get him to post...otherwise, you could be collateral damage

So True
But conssidering that from the beginning that the two have been friends Maximus has to at least try. If he dies too at least it was trying to save a friend what more can one hope to die for.
