Couple of Map Clarifications

The set of steps between landings have enough room for walking up or down single file, it is narrower than the other 2 sets of stairs!

All 3 Treasure Chests are open and will have to be carried out with just enough room for 2 characters to each take an end to carry a chest up the narrow passage [Might be too heavy to carry ???]; unless, of course, you all decide to load up your sacks etc with as much treasure as you can carry!

You can always inform the others [Dagger and the Stout Hearts] back at the beach that there is more Treasure in the Chests!]

Where Is The Water going?

Does it seem odd that the water is flowing into the pool and the pool is not overflowing?

Does it seem odd to hand bone hands and no body?

Does it seem odd to have coin on the stair, are they going up or spilled going down?

If we decide to take the gold out, I'd think we try one chest at a time, with two caarrying and the rest guarding. I bet the cion were spilled by being recovered by it guardian or guardians. Leave two at the top to guard the chest while rest go back for the next. And so on.

Just some thoughts.

Regarding Parchment

Elyra, Mylos and Amur (2 Bards & Rogue) are the only characters with the ability to Decipher Script: Bards taking 10 Turns and Rogues taking 2d8 Turns per page, but neither can decipher a divine scroll.

Characters understand general content of the writing!

Elyra has noticed that the partial broken fingers are from the left hand, lacking any trace of the thumb!

Thoughts from Ody

Does it seem odd that the water is flowing into the pool and the pool is not overflowing?
The only sound in the underground chamber that you hear is the water cascading down, then running into the pool.

Indeed, the water in the pool is not overflowing, so both Crow and Tohmas would deduce that somewhere beneath the surface of the water, there is an outlet: but going where?

The answer may not be as important as getting some of the treasure hauled out and back to the ship!

Does it seem odd to hand bone hands and no body?
It does not seem so odd when the Seekers realize that the partial fingers, minus a thumb, have been bitten!
Does it seem odd to have coin on the stair, are they going up or spilled going down?
Not so odd as the Seekers can see that each Treasure Chest is OPEN and that coins have spilled all around on the stone floor around the chests!

Coins have been spilled being carried down the steps!

If we decide to take the gold out, I'd think we try one chest at a time, with two caarrying and the rest guarding. I bet the cion were spilled by being recovered by it guardian or guardians. Leave two at the top to guard the chest while rest go back for the next. And so on.
This will be revealed after the parchment has been deciphered as much as possible by Elyra, Mylos and Amur!

Then the Seekers will decide if any or all will venture down to the bottom to start collecting treasure!

Just some thoughts.
Good Thoughts Ody!

Hey Angelic

You may Edit your game post to include your observation that the partial fingers with no thumb are from the left hand and that the remaining portions of the skeletal fingers were bitten!

You may also Edit to ask Mylos and Amur to help Elyra to decipher the text written on the parchment she is holding!

Also, that Mylos tapped Elyra on the left knee (short Gnome that he is!) and not on her shoulder!

Game is Progressing!

Hmm

I wonder if we will see prints at the bottom near the treasure that go into the pond.

Update

I am working on my post; should have it up by this weekend for sure.

Edit:

Food for thought; anyone think that maybe the skeleton pirates we just killed might have been the 'last' group sent my our employer to get this gold? Hmmmm! Me might be a tad suspicious!

Don't Touch............

Just a quick thought.

Don't touch the parchment with your hands!
It may be enchanted and that is why there are hands on it. The only way to get away is to cut off your hands. Chewing off thumbs didn't work.

I'd say to copy the text and study that. Use stones or even gold pieces to hold it flat so it can be read.
