I need a wristwatch
Well after closing time? Really? What time is it? I must have lost a few hours in there or something, because I was imagining it being just before ten o'clock when the fire started... so it'd still be before midnight when it's down to embers.
Was it later than that when Jethro went all pyromancer, or did I just spend more time kicking through the ashes than I realized?

Solvy's faux pas ... (redux)
[Edit: Deleted diatribe. Too much said = too much niunderstood.]
... aware of atacks of opportunity.
... did not forget the familiar.
... if Sheva survives, fine. If not, fine.
But I do thank you all for your concerns.

I didn't mean to cause any offense by my comments. And to be honest I don't think any of us are such bad roleplayers that we are in need of a lecture on player as opposed to character knowledge.
The comments that I made were meant as a gentle reminder of attacks of opportunity, if you hadn't taken that into account.

Right, let's just leave it at that. I don't think we're talking at cross-purposes even if it may seem as such.

uhhh
My comment was merely a play on words and a joke concerning the geico gecko lol. I don't believe I've ever told my PC's you shouldn't do that or else lol.

ugh
So RDi dice roller isn't being nice today.
Sheva can make a post about passing out if she wishes, or wait to see what happens with the other pc's and their possibly rushing to her aid.

A little confused ...
I'll post, as planned, and with the info given me, but i'm a little confused:
Kaelyn, your post reads, in part:
Quote: ... Sheva directed all her attention in motion on the Auctioneer ...
I take that to mean that you show me rushing the Camims***e, the one with the fachion (?). M previous post stated, in part:
Quote: Sheva immediately matched motion to voice for her next incantation, almost as a reflex, as she began running toward the faceless mage.
[Cast Shocking Grasp while rushing toward No-Face, to palm him in the chest (or grab a defensive arm) and light him up ... ]
Indicating the mage was my target. I understand that I would (may?) pass the auctioneer en route to the mage but, for the record, the Calims***e was not who I was rushing ...
Or did I misunderstand? I re-read it more than once ...

the attention Solvy
was to indicate you placed both your dodge and mobility feats on the auctioneer for the purpose of passing. If memory serves however the auctioneer rolled an 18 / 20 on the die, more than enough to hit you, and RDI didn't give you a very warm welcome as the falchion scored max damage, thankfully the acid did not.

Woof!
I kinda assumed that was the case, but for some reason forgot that the caster had been partially blocked by Aelistae and had to cast MM over her shoulder to hit me. And for some reason didn't read your description of my path the way my mind's eye saw it (which was erroneous). No problem.
[18-20? prepares to cast enfeeblement on RDI die-roller, that nasty ol' thing!]

It's lucky it wasn't a critical, which it might have been with a role of 18.

Yeah, kinda.
But it's one of her flaws. And this (being knocked unconcious) seems to happen every time she tries to bum-rush-surprise an opposing caster. She has done this only three times (four now), and she only does this when she is nearly out of spells or is at a loss initiative-wise and hurting. She tries to keep a Shocking Grasp in reserve for just such an eventuality.
For her, it's a knee-jerk reaction to flagging energies and feeling at a disadvantage. The first time she did it, she lost her first familiar, and a level she had just attained.
Its an "instinctive foolhardiness" (hi Int, avg Wis) as posted. One of these times, it just HAS to work -- just once! :-/
