clear

I have no intention of ending the game, I just wanted to get a reading if people were bored. I am putting something in that will make the game move a bit quicker. Once we are at the end of this module we can re-assess the party and if people want to change to their own/new characters, I am all for that.

I'm still here

I like my Ranger so count me still here. My post was short as I was trying to create interaction within the party. However no one answered my question.

Still in Roger.

online gaming

I think it's hard to convert such a module to online gaming. A puzzle game is better when you can actually see the maps all together and can shift them around physically and converse among players. In an online environment, that's more difficult to achieve. So far, I think you're doing a good job at getting us along, leaving clues that we can work with.

I think Gamard is as good a character as I've ever created myself, and I'll keep on playing him until this module is over. I'm still curious to find out what is going on in this dungeon.

Keep Going...........

As Dungeon Romp I'm having a good time just reacting to each encounter. I really haven't tried to deal with it as the total challenge to escape. So it is going along fine for me.

I'm with Ody and Almerin

Alacrity,

I was first attracted to your recruitment for this game for three reasons:

1) You were DMing, and that pretty much guarantees a good gaming experience.

2) You said it was a lunch time dungeon romp... so, I figured light-hearted, explore the rooms, slay the monsters kind of game.

3) You said it was about 18 rooms total and would likely be a "shorter" game.

That all sounded good to me.

I'd agree with Almerin that puzzle-based games are definitely easier around a table, but that you're giving us good clues so far along the way. I don't make any claim that I've got this puzzle figured out. But I do fee like we're getting somewhere.

Anyway, still looking forward to this.

Ayrn

Question...

What are the walls made from?

Looking at the map here, I'm curious what the space looks like behind the north and south portals in this area.

What if we hacked through a wall and checked it out? (It's probably nothing, I know... so, if you guys don't think that idea is worth the time, no worries... we can move on)

Regarding our present situation, are your PCs hanging around long enough to let (at least) Wembley search the room? or are your PCs telling Wembley to leave it, because we're moving on? Either way is fine by me.

(Alacrity, if we're not sticking around to do a real search of the room, can Wembley at least pick up all the papers on the floor and look at them at a later time?)
As far as portals go, Wembley's choice would be to go... east. Though, if someone suggests a different portal, he'll think that idea is just as good and go with his companion's suggestion.

Peace,
Ayrn

sure

Gamard will stick around for Wembley to finish the search. He'll even use his hammer to aid the thickness of the walls.

If that all leads to nothing, east is fine.

this weekend

I will update the game this weekend. The papers are important and picking up one would reveal that so yes you will do a enough of a search for those.

Punching through the wall? Hmmm. That could be ... interesting.

The maps

You have found more than these but these are the first level maps you find in the room. Don't worry where I erase things, I changed a lot of the rooms in the module.

If it on a grey background the scale is 1=5
If it is on the white background then it is 1=10

I had to rotate the throne room to fit. There are another 9 maps to go but I have not converted them yet.
