Waiting for the 'morrow
It's gonna be fun to watch each group trump the other's "this is what happened to us" stories.
Fun from an outsider's view anyway, 2 dead and 1 possessed isn't exactly great news in-game.

Where am I?
Kaelyn, the room that Talus is sleeping in, is it somewhere off the main hall, or is it upstairs with the rest of the guest rooms?
If it is downstairs, about what time of morning will the first few Green Gryphon employees start muddling about, prepping for the day's business?

Right I'll put up a post that includes more than one combat round, since there's only the auctioneer to polish off (presuming Nash can handle the mage).

The servant quarters
are downstairs off the kitchen, across the hall from Angus and his wife's room.

Well look at that
500 posts! That deserves a reward, so here's a bonus CD point for everyone. Let's get working on 1000 now shall we?

Also
Guess what peoples, having survived the bonus encounters and other threats up to this point there are level's to be had.
Aelistae
Linnix,
Xaris
Artanis
you may all level your characters.
For new players:
I believe in rewarding those who stick around for the long haul, and they have deserved this level it also makes for interesting combat scenarios as not every member f a unit is equal to their partners. However, I also try not to let the level's differ between players by more than a single level, or else scaling adventures becomes difficult.
What this also means, is as my Experience is done at 'chapter endings' or after special goals are accomplished, you all may level again at the next interval, or there are certainly chances that only the lower level character's will level based on their actions and such in upcoming posts.
You'll also notice the 100CD point mark is a bonus level, this is the only way (by my design anyways) that character's might exceed that one level difference. (Of course character deaths and such could lead to level diferences, but we'll just see how it goes.
Anywho, congrats to those who have more than earned their level, and a thanks from me to everyone for making this game so muh fun to run for you all.

Whoo!
Yay! That's great news.
And it's also good to hear that Bri and DM will also be back in the fray before long.

Cool.
Ok, thanks for the lvl, Kaelyn. I did notice, however, that you said we can up our levels. What exactly does that entail? Is there something specific I have to do to be able to get Artanis one lvl up?

Quick query Kaelyn. I there anything to stop Aelistae from picking up some items as she leaves the auction house? (ie. the magical falchion)
Or are the 'heroic' Tyrrans stealing all the loot?

Magical Falchion
Well the Falchion is pretty much in the Auctioneer's hand, it's pretty obvious that the weapon was a slaver's, and is thus evidence. As such, it is likely that it will be 'bagged and tagged' as it were, stored away to eithe be reclaimated as part of the Armory's wares, or perhaps put on sale to further the growing economy after such financial struggles as war often brings.
If you move to claim it, the Captain and Paladin would most likely question you as to the validity of your claim to it, boring you with legal jargon and what not before the Paladin walks off for a spell.
If you're insistant on owning it, the Captain will mention stopping by the Garrison the following day, and that perhaps a financial contribution to the efforts of quelling future slave auctions may enable him to lose it in the paperwork, but to only bother if you've a serious ofer to back your interest. The he will return to work.
Oh, and leaving the black curtained room, you will find yourself in a cellar beneath a forclosed building scheduled for renovations, about a twenty minute walk from the Green Gryphon.

DA
You've gained a level, bringing you to level 5 (I can work with you on msn to level her it only takes a few seconds really)
By leveling up further I meant it would require other people to die (or be ressurected using 'Raise Dead' which has some heavy penalties) or by reaching the 100cd point mark, in which you gain a bonus level.
By "one level higher" I meant that in My DM'ing my encounters and given means of experience gain are meant to keep all party members within one level of each other, though there are ways as listed above you you as PC's to extend that gap.

hmm...
Didn't see that coming. Apparently Talus has a bit of a Gollum / Sméagol thing going on. Interesting.
