sunset

Before the question comes up. Sunset is a Pseudo-dragon that was rescued in the raid on Antonio's castle. She is small for a PD, only about the size of a small cat and her sting tail was brutally cut off by the wizard Orlando. Sunset has been adopted by the group, and although hangs around Dapple alot, but travels with Char as well and is also is prone to landing on Arien's helmet -where she takes on the silver colour and appears to be a great dragonhelm. Well, it would be if if didn't adopt a dopey expression whenever she did that. She is mildly telepathic (feelings and images), can camoflague herself and can fly short distances.

The ongoing gag (which I can't believe I forgot!) is that people around Sunset tend to develop a craving for spicy sausages - which are her favourite treat. I didn't write that into the introduction. So lost opportunity!

sausages!!!

The dragonhelm thing is great... the expression is hilarious.

I forgot about the sausages, too! And I completely forgot she caused it... I had been thinking it was some strange curse in Orlando's castle...

strange...

I didn't see a record for you as being subscribed to that thread - I did manually add one, so it should work, now.

Wonder why it did that...

Until I discovered that my spam filter was filtering out the email notifications.

Also I hadn't gone back and signed up again for the notify since that last crash.

Languages

Just in case you were wondering about languages. There are three major languages in (My)Oerth: Keolandish, Imperial and Payrim. The different races of elves all have their own languages. I do not play using alignment languages.

Other than that it is pretty standard (Orc, ogre, goblin, bugbear, etc). Mages and Clerics may be interested in taking ancient Baklundish or Suloise in case some ancient magic is found.

The barbarians to the north (Sueli) have their own dialect as well, but it would be extremely unusual for anyone to speak it. However, Talas would have a reason to know it.

moving

Just a show of opinions here. Do you want to go from the meeting to the journey immdeiately or do you want an evening of getting prepared posts? I don't mind either way.

I'm not picky...

...either way is fine with me. A "night of preparation" might help to mesh the "new blood" with the "old blood," I would imagine... Buuuut, since we're talking two days on horseback towards our destination, there's plenty of time for that along the way, too.

Onward!

I don't really have much to do around town. I'd imagine Char is pretty much tired of the city.

An' who're you callin' weak?!?!

I'll have you know, Sir Bob, that I'm friggin' HUGE!

Definitely an intersting array of perspectives in yon dining hall... I can hardly wait to see what transpires in the field.
