Looking forward to the post
I'm enjoying the game so far and thus looking forward to the post, but real life is, well, real life. What I do appreciate is the heads up - thanks for the posting with and indication of time and such.

thanks guys
Thanks everybody I love writing it and I love reading the responses its just finding the time! Hopefully it will spring up somewhere and knock me in the back of the head... or something to that effect... anyways. I'll try to give it a good effort in the next little while and get one up. Also, I will always do my best to keep you guys informed of where the updates are at. I know sometimes it feels like you're in the dark (not you specifically but the plural you... oh the English language) when waiting for a reply so I'll try to keep everyone aware of where we're at. Thanks for the patience everybody... it's coming! It's coming!

PHEW!
Okay... I am finished my character for that other game. I'm sorry I allowed it to take precedence but the game is starting tomorrow and I wanted to be able to join right off the bat. Now, back to this game! I should be getting posts up at a quicker pace from now on. Weekly is my hope, there will be times when I get pushed back but, if we're all on top of it, there will be other times when we can get 2 or 3 updates in a week. Anyways, looking forward to writing. Thanks for being patient guys!

YAY!
Okay, I have finally got a post up for everyone! I'm sorry for the wait, I hope it was worth it. It was very fun to write and I look forward to reading everyone's posts! Basically everyone should take it from where they left off in their post, if that's okay. I say this because if you start from the end of my post then it will lead to confusion and we will all miss out on the opportunity to understand your characters better... not to mention the chance to grab a few experience points... not to bribe anyone of course!

ps. Fears, you murdered that Charisma check, if you read my post, you guys will know what I'm talking about!
EDIT: I hope I haven't driven all you away with my extended absence!

The game is afoot
Sirion has posted.
I stopped the post at the point where the carpenter goes slack jawed under the assumption thatmathias probably had something to do with it and Sirion would probably see this. However, I don't know for sure what he would see if he was watching the kid closely so I can't write more.
Presumably he will follow the kid outside. He has two concerns: 1. Worried about the kid. 2. What the heck happened and how did it happen?
If Mathias is just gone, he would go outside - before the crowd since he sees the disappearance before anyone else. At that point he would probably run into the Prudencios and the others. He would want to talk to them.
Finally - I did not mention Rowena (gosh I hope I have that name right off the top of my head.) Sirion would have made sure she was alright before following the crowd. He would have been happy to have her join him as he ran to the town hall, but I didn't want to put anything in about another persons character when we haven't had a chance to talk about it.

molasses in january?
I'm glad you're still in on the game Nomad! As far as Fears goes I know for this week as well he will be busy with mid-terms and can't be blamed for his absence. I haven't received any notice from Dragon Mistress as of yet, though I know she's active, so I assume she simply hasn't had the time to sit down and put together a post, which is fine. I'm just posting to let everyone know that it has been almost a week since the update and I will be waiting until this weekend to continue the game. I don't want to allow ourselves to get too far behind (I don't want this game dying before its time!). I hope that works for everyone and I'm looking forward to seeing posts in the next little bit. Thanks everybody!

hello, hello - is there anybody out there?
Don't mean to rush y'all but it's been a little while and I'm hungry for some postings.
I was just wondering what's going on - are we still playing, because I would really like to! Hopefully we can start it plodding along again soon and move it up to a trot!

hey!
Hey no worries, I understand juggling the chaos of renovation and medical simultaneously for sure and I didn't mean to rush you, just wanted to make sure you were out on the World Wide Web and making your way back soon. Glad to see you're still interested (you too Nomad!). I'm a little busy as is so probably nothing missed either way. Thanks for letting me know, good luck and I hope peace comes to you in some form during this time of upheaval.

wait...?
Hey Dragon Mistress, thanks for the post! I know it was hard to get it in and it's great that you found a little bit of time to do it, it must get busy between all the health business and trying to keep up in all your games. I'm really grateful that you made the time for this, I really appreciate it. I have to say, and I don't mean to hassle you, some of the details are a little unclear. I was just wondering if you would prefer to wait it out until you get more time and you're really settled so you can get a good post in. I know things are really hard for you right now and I just don't want to rush you when you're so busy. I just know that I need a little more information from you to update but I, by no means, want to press you for it right now. Basically, I'm asking if you would rather hold off until you have a little more time, we're still waiting on Fears as it is anyway.

Post
My reading between the lines it a bit rushed, so I am not sure just what about needing more means. I tried to get Rowena from the schoolyard to the church and then to Mathias's disappearance.
Please, give me some hints as to what more you need.

specific
Briefly, and I'm not asking for it all right now, what I'd like is a little more of the character's thoughts. The game is more focussed on the development and relationships of characters. The actions that their personal situation produces is secondary and, though it moves the game forward, less pertinent to how the entire structure of both the story and the rule system work. We need to understand what the character is thinking and going through.
If and when you get the chance I wouldn't mind hearing a little more about what she thought about what has happened since she offered the orange (the last moment in your previous post). Lots happened in my update before he was carried away, I would love to follow her from Mathias rejecting her, through the town streets, into the town hall, and then hear what she does. Remember, for example, she scared Mathias, does she make any further attempt to connect with him or does she back off. Basically, because the characters are the centre of the game, we need to follow each one through the story.
Lastly, one of the reasons I started this campaign was for an opportunity to really encourage and improve my writing skills as well as those players who chose to join. I'm not asking for a novel every time but around half a page (at the least) shouldn't be hard to write, especially when so much happens. I understand you're really busy so I'm not trying to put all these expectations on you right now, but as the game continues, I must say, that it won't work unless we hear a little more about how Rowena thinks, feels and reacts to things. Thanks very much. I don't mean to pressure you because I know usually you fulfill all these things, and are having a hard time right now. I wouldn't ask for these things unless they were necessary to the game.
Again, thanks,
-Dragonblood
