Audalis
Races in Audalis are similar to any fantasy campaign. In Audalis elves are Sylvari, Dwarves are Khordaldrum, Halfings and Kenders are Cidal. But pleas e do look to the Audalis button and gve it a read as there are some great articles (some of which I wrote).
I would like to have all characters delveloped by the end of December so we can play in January.
So far we have:
Tann - Rogue
Raven - Ranger
Keeper of Dragons - Dashing Swordsman
Dragonblood- Cleric (Tank)
Aryn - Mage ?
Merideth - Some kind of archer
So we could use a rough and tumble warrior, or a generalist (bard, fighter thief, fighter mage type). Or go wild with something completely unexpected (no jesters please)

A character
Well, based on a message from Aryn I was thinking a mage would be a good choice. But if instead some muscle is needed I have no problem running a fighter either - probably a dwarf. I'll check with Aryn and confirm what seems to make the most sense and get to work on it.

open at this point
Either one is good at this point as the bases are covered. Another mage couldn't hurt, but a solid Khord Warrior would be an asset too. So, what you want to play?

A mage it is
I guess a mage it is. Human, I think. Specific focus has yet to be determined. Work has begun.

xp.
Well I won't deny that it'll be an odd party, but not the weirdest mix I've had by far and it looks like a fun group so I'm excited. Not to mention, I'm never the tank so I'm stoked.
This is a question of little importance really but I was wondering if we are going to be starting with an equal level of experience points or just the minimum needed to be at level 2 for each given class. Unless you have a different system for experience I'm not aware of...?

I use my Visa card balance
Tell you what - if we get to the end of this advneture and everyone wants to move onwards for another campaign - I'll work out the XP so everyone starts at the same amount. I would love that to happen - overjoyed even. I might dance naked if it happens.
I am stoked too for this game. It is an interesting party that has potential for great adventure, great comedy and great mayhem. First adventure that could start "A ranger, a musketeer and a cleric walk into a bar...."

yeah
I agree. Quite a mix of characters indeed. Should be loads of fun.
Oh and Alacrity, put a viking the place of that ranger...

of course
The punch line "No, I bought the prostitute for the Llama" is much funnier when he is a Viking. my mistake.

The bar
I don't even know what the Llama line means, but Desiderius (the mage)also walked into that bar. And it hurt. Shoulda ducked.

say whaaaa?
Well... from what I've heard it's not too uncommon for you to be dancing naked Al... and frankly I'm not sure the inn needs another bare butt running around. I choose not to elaborate on that. We all have good enough imaginations.
That said I'm sure I'd join you in the nudist revelry if this game continued past one adventure as I have yet to be involved in a complete D&D adventure (let alone campaign)... not just here on the inn but over the table. Yes, yes I know its a sad state of affairs but I have faith that one day I'll make it. And this looks like a solid cast!
Ps. I think we should change the name of the game to Save the Prostitute, Save the Llama.

walk?
Oh it is possible that the musketeer in this joke just might "flounch" or "sachey" into the bar.
Have to wait and see.

I am helping Merideth and KoD with character creation. Does anyone else need a hand? Let me know.

Oh what is this
It was then the good Lord Ala of the House Crity (aka Alacrity) noticed a leaning on his leg. When he glanced down there sat a pitiful dog, shaggy coat, scare across this nose, a stench that would drop a buzzard off a meat wagon. He was looking up at the Lord Alacrity with eyes that if could speak said, “Can I go with them please. I won’t do much. I can stay out of the way. I promise I will only bite the bad people and then only some times.” With a slight wagging of his tail as if putting a little extra ‘Pleeeeaaase’.

where's my taser?
Kyle,
Thank you for your expression of interest in joining the party. Unfortunately, we are full at the moment and as I have already said, I'm not up for someone role playing a dog or any other animal, reptile and insect.
Oh, by the way, I'm definitely immune to the charm of dogs, not being overtly fond of the animals in real life.
